there once was a day when the tempest with 1400mm arty was a good sniper i could do 180km not bad, now with tremor and same kit i do 160km i think that range of tempest should be put back up if not the 1400s them self, maybe a bonus to optimal and falloff or something please i trained eve for nerly 2 year draming to do tempest snipe and i got good at it yay!! then the patch im not sure when tho came and the range dropped :( maelstrom pratically made tempest useless now and with warp to 0 sniping is hard as it is!!

Why do you need more range?
There is no hauler, frig or cruiser that can reach you. Another sniper BS can, but since you are the one capming the gate, you have the advantage and don't need to close the range. Untill the Rokh warps back to the gate ofcourse.

because all other bs snipe at 180km so in gang would keep better organisation, when ur in a gang and a sniper warpis in on you or a scout sitting at 200km you should be able to hit them back the maelstrom killing tempests existance

First of all your range can be 160 +40 falloff if set up right I beleive. secondly the average range of a apoc and/or geddon is 167 + 12 falloff. they nerfed snipping ammo for a reason when they added the teir 3 bs's
