hmmm...donno if its me, but was just moving ship back to normal station i work out of and enterred warp.
you get the build up to warp bubble. then the boom....then halfway through warp or just existing warp i get a second boom noise as if i just enterred warp again. anyone else getting it ?
checked my sound settings (nice feature added) and everything seems to be fine. and whoever got the devs to swing the nerf bat at the warp being to loud needs to be hit also. it was fine the way it was... -----------

Yep, I also get that. First "sonic boom" (noise in space?) 4-6 Secs into warp, second about 9 secs later.

i do have that second boom too, and even on some ship explosions there is a second explosion..

Yeah, i get that a lot actually. Didn't use to do that before the patch.

Same problem here, also when things blow up it happens twice.

I've heard turning your Audio off and on Via audio settings will correct it for the time that your on, but you gotta love how CCP just needs to get everything on TQ before working out bugs =/, Also, its not just warp, it happens when you kill something, it explodes, it will sound off again at the same time interval of like 10 seconds =/ this makes me think someone else has scanned me down and is stealing kills. There's also a similar bug on cloaking/gate-jumping. When I was going through certain systems, I was wondering who popped in right on top of me. Will try the disable/re-enable sound bit when I get home. _______________________________

I am reading this here and now i understand thats really a bug. I dont care much about the sounds, i am only annoyed by lag and i thought its only another effect because of lag.

There is another thread on this dated 9/4 under Double Sound Effects which is actually a more appropriate title. I did a bug report and of course CCP said the problem was not reproducible. I also get double sound effect when killing rats, when jumping in to a system and when warping out. Never had this problem before the 2.2 patch
Also even tho they stated they fixed the frozen 5% reprocessing rates at stations where u have standing that would mean a lower rate, they have not actually done so. Bug report on that was also closed saying I did not provide sufficient info but I provided the station location Republic Military School in Krilmokenur in Heimatar space. I guess I needed to give them a screen shot showing my standing versus the 5% reprocessing %. But that was a known issue purportedly fixed per the patch notes

lol sorry for posting lol. i posted it as warp bug because thats what i noiced. as i didnt do missions or anything. and then it was double sounds on everything.
and i tried turning audio off and on. warp sound for me sounds like bending bamboo i should fraps it lol. anyway. il go look at this "new thread" of yours. -----------

Turning off hardware accelerated sound seems to sort it.

Yes Turning off hardware accelerated helps a little.
But some how that is turnd on all the time to when i turn of sound .
Its extreme hard to get the 2 turnd of ad the same time :) And Turning off hardware accelerated in vista ? I realy can not find that option any where olso not in dxdiag.
But sometimes it is crasing with sound of to.

I meant inside EVE. It has a sound options page with a new hardware acceleration checkbox.
