today I was probing mission runners with my alt and main, got some.. warped in my arazu and rapier to kill a pest and phoon doing mission. enteres acceleration gate, woa 2 bs in the deadspace.
kinda figure it gonna be a hard fight since both are faily close to me(about20km).
2 damps on pest and 1 on phoon. all points on phoon (3together)+dual web. pest warp off....ncie then I got the phoon alone I think. 20 sec later..the phoon warp off
wtf......ppl doing lv4 missions with 3 stabs now?
Alsi I encountered several belt ratters with atleast 2 stabs.
plz ccp, nerf stabs even more...as its too stupid...running around with stabs in non-transport ships.

more than 3? to catch a guy supposed to tank lv 4 missions or a guy ratting in a belt. ships with guns and wcs should autoaticly blow up as soon as they activated the guns. O.o

yeah, phoon with 3 stabs is ZOMG overpowered with its, what, 10km lockrange? not like its much of a thread that way

Just make em work like damage controls - maximum 1 stab per ship. Then the blockade runners bonus will be a lot more useful.

Point of nerf was to make combatships(read: pvp-ships) unable to fight and still be stabbed up at once. I'd say they did a pretty good job with this. Only other solution would be to decrease velocity and shield boost aswell, and that would render them even more useless.
I say they're fine.
Alts is just another name for inbreeders.

Sure, and since we are taling balanced and "fair", lets also make the following changes:
1) Only one disruptor can be targetted on a ship. No putting 20 points of disruption on a ship that can't put more than 2 points of stabilizing. 2) Make it so that 2 ships piloted by the same IP address can't engage the same target. No fair the OP brought 2 ships to bear on a single player. Want more than 1 attacker? Bring a friend. EvE isn't a solo game. 3) Make it so that rats in missions respond to incoming ships and attack newcomers. No fair that the OP had dozens to hundreds of NPCs helping him.
Gads, really. The OP is whining that someone got away and demanding game changes because he failed to get an easy gank? Waaaaaaaaaah. GO fight someone that might actually want to fight instead of someone willing to do anythign to avoid it. Or just pack your lows with disruptors and gimp your fit as much as they did.

lol...first disuptors isnt low slots moduls>:< and eve is a pvp game.
also.....I run 2 acounts...its lessthen the risk ..but increase the stakes....I can easly lose 2 ships..in a well sprong trap.

WARP disruptors* silly.
Maybe my terminology isn't "correct", but it would still be cheap if the opponent couldn't fit more than one defensive module but the enemy could fit as many in offense as they wanted.
As for "increasing the stakes", lol. YOU have all the advantages, and decide when to attack. That is advantage enough.
*Jammer, Scramblers, Disruptors, what ever you want to call them. We were talking about WCS, easy enough to figure out what I was talking about.

It issnt, thus you can let your gang pack tons of disruptors, it is however in 95% of the cases a x vs 1 situation, (focused fire anyone?) thus you can allready pack an infinite amount of disruptors, however never ever stab more than 8 points. And once again, its virtually impossible to pvp with stabs.
Atleast give a solution on how to nerf it if thats your dream. Or keep making yourself look foolish by pointing out typos of others.

u just simply have to encrease the cpu usage to that point u cant fit a whole set of wcs with a decent setup. that makes travel bs setup with 8 wcs and like a mwd still ok to use. but no npc or pvp setup with em. But if u fit 2-3wcs u cant fit a normal setup anymore. maybe give haulers some % in less penalty for cpu. almost like a Cover Op cloakand the recons got.

Haulers got tons of CPU, that'd hardly be the issue.
I still want to see stabs usable on ratting setups however, especially as rendering them impossible to use would remove the need of several points.
Alts is just another name for inbreeders.

which I dont want....would,prefer if itwas like max 1 stab and still a ok setup. kinda same if u would have fitted 2 cloaks.

How about we leave them alone.
When the nerf came in, the mission runners complained that they'd have to gimp their setups to be able to avoid the likes of you...
Everyone said "Tough luck, lap it up, fit stabs if you want and suffer the consequences"
So they did.
Now you're complaining they can fit too many...
"Tough luck, lap it up, fit more disruptors if you want and suffer the consequences"
...or bring a friend to help tackle.
Suggest you pick on armour tankers next - less likely to use their lows for stabs aren't they!

How in the hell could somebody do a deadspace with 3 wcs???
As for 1v1 etc...i am annoyed at wcs,because soloing is impossible if everybody fits one however,if they want to hinder themselves to the point of 10km max lock range in order to have a good chance of getting away i think thats a fair trade...Next time just have your rapier take a disruptor aswell and they wouldnt be able to warp OR fight back. __________________________________________ Yes it is great being amarr. One Typhoon and one Tempest in a level 4 mission, the Typhoon is warp stabbed to hell. Hmm!
Have you considered this? Both ships are controlled by the same player. The Typhoon is fit to tank the mission. The player warps it in first, lets all rats get aggro on it, and then brings in his Tempest, which is fully gank fitted, to kill the mission NPCs.
Since he is controlling two ships at a time, he might as well not bother with weapons on the tanker, because then he can focus fully on controlling the Tempest while monitoring his tank ship's health in the gang window. No reason to use two screens or alt-tab. Then, it is fully reasonable to stab up the Typhoon, since it doesn't need to target anything! This allows both ships to get out if the tank doesn't hold (the Tempest is never scrambled by NPCs because it does not have aggro).
I'm sorry, but you simply warp scrambled the wrong ship

if the phoon had 3 stabs im curious as to how it was tanking the whole mission. its not as if the typhoon has a huge amount of spare lows to armor tank with, and i dont see it fitting a great passive shield tank (active would require a bit of micromanagement but still doable i suppose). 6 turret slots suggests 6 turrets, leaves 2 transports. Yes lost 2 sieges, gained 4 on the phoon.

yeah, nerf the stabs so only 1 fits per ship, then do the same for damps. Maybe take off the damps and fit 4 T2 warp scrams.

no, this one case means its the new standard.
stabs should reduce one turret, launcher and active drone each on top of what they currently do.
then we can wait for the, 'tryed to gank the 4 missions runners and they all had 3 stabs still, but they needed 4 people to do the mission safly now.
icant tell if its a joke thread tbh.... nerfing things really is becoming the FOTM
