Kenamor	Posted - 2007.08.13 15:08:00 - [1] I'm using the free trial at the moment and no matter what ship I get, I can not use the drone bay. When I open the bay and try to put the drone in, it says there is no room. The bay is empty. I have the skill's necessary for the scout drones..but still can't use them. Is this a free trial thing or am I doing something wrong? TIA Rob

Tai Otoshi Caldari Crimson Star Empire FREGE Alliance	Posted - 2007.08.13 15:53:00 - [7] The Merlin doesn't have a drone bay. If you want to use drones, you need to be in a different ship. The only caldari frigates that can carry a drone are the bantam, griffin, and heron - they can each carry 1 light drone. Caldari ships are generally pretty light on the drone bays... but still good to get your drones skill to 5 and drone interfacing to 4 once you get into a ship with at least a 25m3 (for 5 lights) or 50m3 (for 5 medium drones) drone bay.
