I was looking at the new idea for graviton beams, and my first thought was, "neat-finally a way to stop those fast all vagabond gangs."
But today I realized that no matter what CCP does to nerf the real PVP ships or buff the non PVP ships, no amount of coding will change human will.
I think that even after these changes all the pseudo-pvpers/carebears will still always dock up when reds appear and the pvpers will still adapt and find something lethal to play with.
In fact, I bet if the pvpers only had an osprey and a sythe they would still PVP and if the pseudo pvpers/carebears only had t2 fitted ratting ravens they would still dock--no matter what the latest buff or nerf is. |

The entire point is to get a ship that's more powerful then the other guy... Keep nerfing unique setups and EVE will be little more then an SP & ISK war. ______________________

****************** EVE is an SP and ISK war... You just haven't woken up to that fact yet. The BORG rules here. Join or GTFO.

So the Vagabond are the real pvp ships? That grav beam can just as well be used to keep ships away from the Vagabond btw, ever think of that? Not that ive checked the power/cpu for the thing, but I assume its not that much.

Its a good point, but there is a reason some are hesitant to undock: They don't know if the ship they spent weeks grinding to get is going to get blown up in 2 min. of combat. There are, of course, people who do PVP in expensive ships, but that is because they have enough ISK that losing them doesn't hurt as much. There is a point where ISK doesn't matter, but you have to have lots of it to get to that point.
