This is definitely something on their end:
Quote: C:\>tracert 87.237.38.200

Compare this to a trace to myeve.eve-online.com:
Quote: C:\>tracert myeve.eve-online.com

So no EVE until at least Monday? That's just great. BTW, I don't believe Telenor is unable to fix their router before Monday, it's just not a high enough priority problem for them.

Originally by: Marus Sulla Theres more than one problem here. The broken router is only a new one, its not on my tracert and my problem started nearly two weeks ago for some of us.
Keep those ideas coming. I'm going for a full windows re-install this afternoon.
So what does your traceroute look like?

Good findings, Dizzhar. I find it interesting that some traceroutes fail after reaching a router called ccp on Limelight Networks. Makes me think the problem is pretty close to CCPs server farm in London.

Do I think a problem that occured in February 2004 has something to do with the current connectivity problems regarding EVE Online? No.

Originally by: iPod LoSec To those people with 2 computers that one of which is able to connect... can you please open RUN-> type: cmd <enter> Then type ipconfig /all at the dos prompt and copy the results of the 2 connections here...
I am sure you will find a different gateway is bieng used on the one that works than the one that doesnt. That information would be very usefull to the rest of us.
Spank you kindly... iPod LoSec - <yawn!>
Just made an interesting discovery: Two of my computers can't reach 87.237.38.200, but my laptop can. It's connected via Wi-Fi and my wireless router says it has the same gateway as my two other computers. The only thing that differs is the IP-range.
My two desktop computers (that can't connect) are in 85.228.51.* and 85.228.48.*. My wireless router is in 85.228.53.*.
Traceroute from laptop:

Compare that traceroute to my earlier one. The problems start after the node ti9002b300-ae0-0.ti.telenor.net [146.172.105.90], so it might very well be Telenor's router that is acting up.

For those of you who can't connect and have BBB as ISP (might work with others too): I just got my main computer to connect to Tranquility by getting my IP changed a couple of times. Eventually I got one that worked.

I did a traceroute earlier this morning, after failing to connect to Tranquility, and it showed 100% packetloss at two of Telenor's hops, number 4 and 5. Now I CAN connect, just did and updated my skilltraining. I did a new traceroute and the same two nodes STILL show 100% packetloss, hops 4 and 5 respectively.
Once again, it's not unusual that a few hops along a route don't respond and as long as the packets get through to the final destination it is not a problem.
Anyway, the problem with Telenor seems to have been fixed.
