Just an idea to mix things up heaps.
Image if you could rig a Low slot module so that it could be put in to a mid slot.?! and/or Rig a mid slot module to fit in a high slot?
Obviously a lot of work would need to go in to what modules cold be rigged, I'd suggest that the be some sort of stack (% increase) of the fitting requirements, & in some case you might want to affect cycle time for some/all modules.
I think it is sort of understandable that a low slot could be mod'd to fit in a mid or a mid mod'd to fit in a high. to me it dose not seam right to go the other way. Also you would want the rigging to stack so that if you to a low module & rigged it to fit in a Mid, then put a rig on it so that it could go in a high slot that the fitting requirements became so much that you would not be able to fit it on most ships.
just thoughts, any feed back welcome.
thanks

I was hoping you were going to say "Let me rig my POS modules." that would rawk.
This idea... not a fan of it. Most of the modules are designed to balance out. IE shield mods fit in mid slots, armor in lows so that an obvious armor tanker can't just stash all his armor reps in mids so he can have 7 hardeners or plates. And shields have the same limitations. That and it sounds like you'd only want to convert them up. Meaning an armor tanker could (again) run 6-7 hardeners, 2-3 plates and 2-3 reps. But a shield tanker would have to sacrifice weapons to up his shields. Now I'm all in favor of customization but I just don't see this working well.
Those are my thoughts.
Now... about those POS modules... ------ Pain is weakness leaving the body.
