Can someone either list the changes here or point me to a thread that has more information about these changes? Thanks in advance.

DevBlog link for the devblog where it was said, its somewhere in the middle on how they will be able to transfer energy/shield/armour from like 70km away and have much better tanks :-) ---------- JOIN SMI CORP FOR THE BEST HARDCORE ACTION IN EVE! |

Er..they can pretty much already do that with high skills. Granted they can't tank well, but giving cap from close to that far is pretty easy. I hope its getting booster to farther than that ----------- Amarr- If you like to handicap yourself before the fight begins, then we may accomodate your needs surprisingly well. |

Apparently remote reppers (and I assume shield xfers) have had their base cap needs severely slashed, making them easier to work with.
The Oneiros for sure, and I believe all of the Logistics ships are getting their drone bays upped to 50m3 for launching a full flight of medium logistics drones.

Looks like the Oneiros took a little (relative) nerf. No longer being the number one armour repairer, it also has worse capacitor efficiency than any other logistics. Guess they follow the Roden Shipyard tradition of being uncompetitive with it's peers.
Guardian will certainly be the logistics of choice. - EVE is sick. |

this made me happy in the pants
With max skills and 2x CCC rigs the basilisk should now be able to fit a large cap battery II and sustain 6 large transfers as a result :D

With higher resists and a larger dronebay, are logistics going to become the heavy tackler of choice?

I doubt it by a long shot. They still have fairly bad tanks, and their armor is rather low (shields too.). A BC will still last much longer when tackling tbh.

Basilisk with 2x cap rigs, a large cap battery and 2x T2 cap power relay can permarun 2x large shieldboosters while having a lowest resist of 66% on shield. Bad speed though, but awesome tank and small sig.

It's really looking like basilisks/guardians will be the new logistics of choice. Very nice on the dual energy/shield, and energy/armor bonuses.
I'm the alt of the main that the forums picked, and i can't be arsed to go through the "settings" page to change it back, k? |

The Onieros and Scim look a bit weak with a single role bonus. With rigs, track links are a fair chunk less useful these days (stacking penalties mean they make less impact) but everyone likes cap.
I think the guardian will get used more after this (my alt can use amarr, gal and mini logistics). The bot bonus is nice and might get people to use them more.

I wish they would give the Scimitar a bonus to armor rep as well, make that its second role bonus. Seems sad that Matari ships are split between armor and shield tanking, and their logistics ship only has bonuses to one category....
Still, here I was looking at the Scimitar as a potential exploration vessel. It has lots of CPU (600), small sig radius (65) and high scan resolution (400). With the exception that it doesn't have astrometrics bonuses everything else makes it perfect.... <-----------> Factional Warfare:

The tracking link bonus as it currently works on TQ you can practically double the tracking on any guns (something like +80-85% on tracking) and add about 50% to the optimal of any guns. Because the bonus they give is so large it's the other mods that will receive stacking penalty making them less usefull when scimitar is involved .

that's for sure, the Guardian and Basilisk will be the ones you'll prolly want the most because they can transfer cap to eachother(when running multiple logistics) to run the remotes without really sacrificing much tank for cap recharge (unlike oneiros/scimitar). Crystal-Slave, that way?

The Scimitar is a sweet ship now, though a bit more Grid is needed on it, just too damned low to fit whats needed and have any kind of tank.
I am still amused that months later after asking why the Scimitar lost its t1's 5m3 drone bay seen as its a logistics cruiser and why they didn't use logistics drones and here we are with big drone bays and a +100% logistics drone bonus. Does CCP read our threads? ;)

My minmatar logistics on tran can currently boost a rokh to well over 400km optimal with spike. Pity you cant lock past 250km. Im running 5 SS tracking links on it and it gives an insane boost to optiamal and trackin. Its optimal boost is very nearly double that given by tracking computers.
