A lot of players are firmly grounded in the capatalist method of running corps and the playing style that this dictates. People these days seem to be only interested in the quick fix when it comes to generating funds. Teamwork wins in the long run...
I agree, I think it would be awesome to work in an environment like that where you do "work for the corp" the ISK you earn goes to the corp and in turn the corp provides you with what you need to go about your job. But you need good people at the top who can be trusted to run it.
But then again that suits me. I play eve to be part of an alliance that's going somewhere and my goal is to help where I can, so my goals are not personal but for the greater good. If you have a bunch of people who are only interested in personal goals then that's not going to happen. ---------------------- Rank: Tech 1 and a 1/2 cannon fodder

A lot of people now ask, when does BoB runs out of isk ? Well let's search for signs ... what does a government do when it runs out of money ? Right, it increases tax.
And now we look at BoB corps, if we can detect that sign, and voila: Reikoku 49% tax, Evolution 80 % tax. 80%, dam they must be in desperate need of isk
So what will come next ? Will BoBs pilote switch from t2 to named/t1 fittings ? Will the taxation for the pets be increased ?
if bob run low of isk (and they will not), then they will just get on msn and get the bug fixed.
that will get snipped for sure

As a very new member of BoB, I'd just like to confirm that I do think something's up with our supply of isk.
For example, of the 12 HACs I was promised if I joined, there were only 10 placed in my hangers, and two of those were Eagles! Hello.
Of the 5 dreadnaughts that were going to be placed at my hangers in various outposts in our space, there are only 3. The 5 carriers? Please, they're not even faction fit! Just generic tech 2, manufactured capital, and best named.
However, I will credit them, sitting in the moon mining large POS given to me is my very own person Nyx. Yeah, I can't fly one yet, but it doesn't matter. It's there for when I'm ready in six months or so.
The goodie bag with the free Sabre BPO, the "insta-lag"/"system crash" tool, and the list of developers home numbers/MSN IDs was kinda sweet though.
Now, I gotta go get ready to go out. Oveur's taking me out for my "welcome to the team" dinner. Which is nice, but not as nice as the first-class ticket to Reykjavik they sent me! ------------------------------------------ 'Teh Onchinator' Personal Assistant to MrsPitman |

I can't speak for da Sarge, but I know once the alliance and corp evemails loaded when I switched corps I got 36 offers from various Level 4 Research agents offering me various Tech2 BPOs, each in exchange for a Civilian Gatling Gun, 1 unit of Tritanium, and a Sir Molle autograph. It's been hard spawning that many Ibises, but the autographed headshots were easy to get; it turns out that Oveur has a pile of them on his desk that he hands out to local dignitaries and visiting heads of state. I just swiped a few when I was there for my tour of the new "Shrike Wing" of CCP HQ.

So that explains what was in all those freightors you guys were jump-portaling all over the place.
After all, since the loss of that 0.0 lvl1 "no standings required" agent you guys had that spawned 10/10 style rewards for everyones n00balt, I can see your efforts to expand into other markets --

When I am flying my own personal ship, which I paid for myself, I feel much more at liberty to take risks and fight hard. When the ship is community property, I'm much less likely to get into a fight with it. In short, I have balls when the ship is my personal property. Isn't everyone else like that?
Communal ships *are* your ships for as long as you are in them. And secondly noone in Evol is ever seriously berated for losing a ship in combat, unless he gets his ass ganked stupidly somewhere he shouldn't be getting his ass ganked stupidly.
Communism as such might not make the losses feel less painfull, but it makes the replacement part of things and the logistics part of things alot easier. The true gain is there, and in the teambuilding aspect of shared resources.
