the whole of curse is either trapped with us or cant get out :)
The last time you "locked down curse" me and a friend mined 2 level 2 BS 5 jumps out from you:). You just coordinated an operation with FA and SA that will hardly do any damage on a day you know we always have low turnout. We'll just do missions or attack stain in cruisers, you sit there twidling your thumbs again.
As for the podkills and kills I know we got 15 kills to 1 before over 60 ships jumped in e02. Then we just logged of. Have fun I'd say:).

Lol yeah sure, 60vs 16 why not:). Actually I fight with even odds or even when slightly outnumbered. Unfortunately most of Stain and evol can't count and run to a safespot and post on the boards they were outnumbered when a battle could go either way. The only Stain corps I've seen so far that stick around for a good battle is the collective. The rest of you are all muppets.

I guess todays actions are more about to show those CA that thought they would soon win the war, that they are VERY wrong.

Heh Duke. You're the only one here trying to convince himself that, a year ago, Omega won a war that they actually lost. That some BH impersonating a GM was an actual GM. That SA secretly wanted to kick OC out because they didn't like OC for whatever reason, not because OC was too proud and selfish to abide by an alliance decision on resource distribution.
You've been delusional for at least a year Duke.
That's why your pilots have left you. That's why many of the best ones joined us, the Enemy. Your continued cluelessness is also why your very own former corpmates would like nothing better now than to destroy you.
It's fitting that you joined an alliance with people like Sarkos, who had vehemently been denying aspects about CA that now people openly admit. Like Tehel, who up until TTI's implosion had been insisting that they were winning, oblivious to the losses of their fleet and their allies. Like Stavros, who is still convinced that their ganking of newbies using past exploits is evidence of their skill and competence. Like many in CA, who convinced themselves that we had magic powers, GM's, developer favoritism. Like the entire CA, who, against all reason seem to believe that elisting the aid of pirate corporations ("former" alliance members) like m0o, c0w, and others will save them from a single corporation: us.
Perhaps many of you wonder why we pick on you. Eve is a game that has a great potential to have sophisticated conflicts and struggles. However, the pirates' and CA's mindset is holding the game back. In order for the game to advance, those unfit have to be culled.
It's nice that you've all joined forces. Makes our job easier.

All that m0o wants to do in the game is generate infamy and kill stuff alot. Something we do rather well ¼_¼

Quote: I mean, come on, they could have joined other corps. If I understand it correct, RC had close relations to VOTF and Shinra, and no relation at all to m0o, when CA was formed. Still, they "all" joined m0o, not another corp in CA.
Only 3 of us joined M0o (possible that one more may later), 3 went to VOTF, and one went to EV.
Quote: I'm saying the same thing I've always said. Those pirate corps were getting their asses kicked. They needed to do something to be able to rebuild. They went to Curse and used you, and now they are back to piracy, just as everyone except some guys in Curse understood from the beginning.
We came to Curse to get some good fighting, we weren't beaten, we were bored, thanks to Concord
Quote: We wanted to kill the pirates in Sinister and Red Corsairs. All the small corps in Curse made post after post saying that these guys had stopped being pirates. And that they would defend Sinc and RC...
And it was true. We stopped pirating til the CFS thing. We had never even heard of their POS alliance, then one day Gresil was told about them and that they had us on their kill-on-sight list. So we went up there to test em out and have some fun
You always seemed like a decent guy, but now you're just claiming the same bull**** as Bach and Scragg. We weren't manipulating the CA for cash, we were always broke, and just left when it was clear the CA wouldn't go back to valuing random destruction over mineral reserves

stav, you're wrong. usually you think before you post, but I don't think you did this time. wait, scratch that srry, alot of the time you don't think before you post. but alot of the time you don't throw out stuff that's supposed to be factual, and end up loking naive.
you can't win in this game. there is no game over. it's persistent.
but, sinister is dead. when we come to curse, curse people die, run, and/or hide. our kill ratio vs curse is still sitting at about 4 to 1 in battleship kills alone. we have broken up numbers of CA camps and fleets that only god can manage to count. we have killed so many overall ships of Curse's that we could stay afloat profiting from their pathetic loot alone.
if anyone is winning, or failing, or doing well in this conflic, it goes like this.
we're winning. curse is failing.
m0o is no longer in curse. according to one of your veteran members, one of the reasons that you left curse, was because of their crying of exploits and cheats on us. they called exploits and cheats on us due to their lackluster skills on the battlefield. cause-effect. logic is cool.
denial is something that the kids from Curse are familiar with, so sinister up and...dying... hi jimbo... will always have nothing to do with evolution, so say they.
as for the origins of this thread, and Omega Corp's entry into the alliance.
neat. Curse needs your help. it won't matter in the end. You will all end up drinking each other's tears to survive. |

Edited by: Stavros on 08/01/2004 05:24:33 Various people in m0o had various reasons for leaving ca.
A lot of us thought the cheating accusations verged on the lame.
I for one got ****ed off with getting no backup whilst acting offensively in stain.
m0o is a corp of individuals, all entitled to their own opinions, our sole goal is to pvp when/where and how is rather irrellevant.
My defninition of victory was probably quite good, however to say that ca is broken to the same state as cfs isnt. CFS cant field a fleet to oppose us, CA can field rather large fleets. True CA get cooped up in stations sometimes, but it is hardly a majority of the time. As an outside observer (whether you believe it or not) I am surprised CA held it together this long and it is rather a tribute to the skill of the various corps/individuals that they have.
Lesser alliances have broken under far less external pressure.
However there is never any true victory in the game and since it is only a game people come and people leave for a variety of reasons.
I think your guy Jim Bond said it best in his post. Victory in a game like EVE comes from achieving your personal goals or the goals of your corp, whatever they are.
Now if you had destroyable platforms, stations or whatever THEN u could get true 'victory'. Even ship kills don't count for anything anymore with insurance and the billions being made weekly with arkanor mining.
From a griefing perspective this game has gotten worse
I have no clue what I just typed I really should get back to working :P --

Well, you were in Curse much earlier... that part of my post was more about Sinc..

And I am, Bob. You always did that too I know you said you were broke all the time. And since you were in the old CA with VOTF and Shinra defending you, that post of mine was more about SINC, and the "supposed to be good" corps that joined CA. The difference between me and Bach/Scragg is that they seem to really hate pirates. I don't. Pirates makes it possible for me to get PvP without attacking innocent people. If there were no pirates left I'd turn into one myself. What I go on about on the forum is what your forum warriors posted long ago. Go back and read them for yourself, it's a good laugh, and I really doubt that even any CA can still say what Sarkos said was correct.

Thanks to Rebellion, I know realize that I am not worthy of playing this computergame, as I am obviously not of the caliber required to provide "sophisticated conflict". I read BH's post again after you say that, and I don't see that it so incredibly insightful. He mainly wanted to force his foes to admit that allowing ex-pirates into a non-pirate corp is fine. Which is valid, most PVP oriented corps have at least a couple of 'em eventually, and even if they don't they certainly don't get upset if their allies have some ex-pirates in the ranks. He then made the logical leap that it was therefore OK for pirates to basically jump alliances/corps at will. And non-pirates that are hosting them at any given time should be immune from criticism because those ppl are not pirating during that 1w/1m/whatever slice of time.
