One issue I haven't seen yet:
before the patch I could do this:
ACTIONS: - Select something on the overview. - press the dscan button. RESULT: - Camera orients towards the selected object and starts dscan.
AFTER PATCH: This no longer works if I have a d-scan keyboard shortcut that is not the default (v). My friends tried this with V and it works, I have it on spacebar and it doesn't.
plz fix?

Here are a list of general usability issues and bugs sourced from /r/eve (https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/5zd6kb/crowdsourcing_dscanprobe_window_issues/) [Usability] Probe window filters are not sorted alphabetically, they are sorted by date of creation. Alphabetically would make it much easier to find the right one. [Usability] When clicking AU/KM button the minimum text-field size is not constant, resulting in the button jumping away every time you switch distance type. [Bug] Switching between AU/KM results in an *inaccurate* data conversion. E.g. going from 500.000.000 km to AU results in 3.3 AU, going back to km again results in: 493.672.973 km. [Bug] Using the scroll wheel to increase the dscan range from 0->1 AU results in an instant dscan which makes it impossible to change the range. This means you are always stuck with 1 AU or less using the scroll wheel. [Bug] If you tick ON "Align with Camera" and move your camera after it has aligned, ticking OFF "Align with Camera" followed by ON "Align with Camera" does not align your camera again. Seconding this, I don't know if this has been posted about before but the Solar System Map now creates an extremely annoying background ambient noise (similar to the one heard in Tactical View). Like the new D-Scan noise, it is grating if you have a bassy headphone or subwoofer.
CCP, please consider adding the ability for us to volume control individual sounds in the game, like the Windows 7+ Volume Mixer, where you can volume control individual programs. Credit also goes to /u/AngryRedGummyBear for this idea.
See my mockup below - in Advanced Sound Control, there'd be a new button (a {custom} or dropdown arrow), which opens up more options. {play} buttons would be there to preview each sound:

This^^ I've been asking this for a while. So many ambient noise that arent tied to anything so you can't minimize their impact on the experience in the client.

Yeah my philosophy can basically be boiled down to "If we can't agree, let us tweak the fine details." Individual sound controls would be much better; I don't want to disable all UI Interaction sounds just to get rid of the D-Scan and System Map noises. I LIKE the other noises. |

Is it normal than right-click menus are transparent even if the transparent slider is set to zero ? Sounds like a bug.
The UI is already incoherent with the neocom who don't care of this setting, so I hope it isn't a design choice... It is weird to see an UI with transparency there and opacity over there, it looks amateurish. |

Your preference might differ from someone else's. There should be two entirely separate mousewheel invert settings - one for probe mousewheel, and one for ship/map zoom. That way we can tweak to preference.
For example, how I control my ship camera is not always the same as how I like to control my Map camera. I had to Stiffen my main camera's Inertia setting to make the map usable. There's also people complaining that their Maps are inheriting the Offset. I think what happened was CCP tried to simplify their code by sharing code between the Ship and Map cameras. The Map should not be inheriting any settings at all from the main camera; the Map should have its own separate settings.
Again, this is the same as with the Sound thing: Give players more freedom of choice to tweak their UI as they want it! |

this is my biggest ask as well. it was inverted properly until the update, now i have to Alt+scroll the opposite direction to tighten probes. Just muscle memory issues mostly, but between that and not being able to find the dscan button, im slower than ever.
Tell you what I do like though: A killer. A dyed-in-the-wool killer. Cold-blooded, clean, methodical and thorough.

I have had this issue for a long time. I suspect memory leak.
What happens to your FPS? I was going from ~90fps before the hack to sub 30 fps during the hacking minigame and then as soon as the game closes I'm back to full FPS again.

Map doesn't work now, can't look up systems and my hot key for zoom in and zoomout that's set to page up and page down no longer works with the map. Since I dont have a mouse and I play on laptop that's kind of a deal breaker on using the map. |

Put scan button and angle/distance sliders placement back to original immediately! This is stupid change. Completely opposite from where they were.
I have my overview on right side from top to bottom, and dscan window slighty bigger than overview and at the bottom corner. Both of them overlaps, and like I said, my dscan window is slighty bigger, so i could click scan button poking outside overview edge. Now I have to resize overview to be shorter at the bottom, so I could click scan button which is all way to the my bottom right corner.... Genius.
CCP if there's A, B, C and D features. And you receive feedbacks that complain that A, B, and C sucks and doesn't complain anything about feature D. What you should do is listen and fix A, B and C, and don't change anything about feature D. Instead of leaving A and B alone, makes C worse and change feature D.
Feature D in this being goddamn placement of scan button and angle/distance sliders. |

Over 36 hours and 1 downtime later, still not a fix in sight for 1-9 hotkeys constantly changing Scan filters no matter if the window is focused or not.
We at least have some work arounds for other issues but having to choose between changing keybinds I've been using for years or just not logging in isn't anywhere close to being a workaround.
Opting out of using the new windows also isn't possible as the old version of the D-Scan is also broken.
My Omega runs out soon and you can be damn sure it wont be getting renewed if this isn't fixed before then. |

among many many other problems that have already been listed in various forms:
it is now no longer to deselect all sigs once you have selected one. previously you could revert to having all sigs deselected by sorting any column. even in opening and closing probe scanner, the selection is retained. |

Also I find it faster to access buttons at the top of the window.
Side Note is there a way to adjust the brightness of Scan results in the scanning window. I'm OK with the Spheres being fairly dull but the Dots can be a bit hard to see, that and being able to resize Probes with click and drag.
There is also a small bug i have noticed with probe layouts, The probe sizing slider does not update to reflect the new size. if you ahd scanned at 0.25AU and then click a 8Au layout the slider stays at 0.25 and you ahve to drag it up to decrease the size.

A small issue: when I open the program each time, Anomalies appear in my scanner even if they are checked out. I have to check and uncheck them to make them disappear. |
