In a year of playing EVE I don't think I've had a single disconnect. I had a few CTDs back before Christmas due to the dual-core bug, but that's all sorted.
I'm playing from both home and I log in at lunchtime at work, with no issues, and the work connection runs through Ireland - so if it's stable from Ireland it should be stable from everywhere, or your ISPs REALLY suck ass.
It could be down to traffic prioritisation on a router somewhere - I had a problem with Teamspeak here at home, it was due to the traffic shapers nerfing TS packets during peak times. Detailed logging eventually got the ISP to update the settings on their shapers, with no issues since.

So, STFU about CCP's Network, Because it's fine, and STFU about the ISP CCP uses. It's fine too. Start with your ISP's Support and track it down. If they give you the Run around, Demand for a Supervisor.
Are you sure your Canadian? You have that bad assumption habit like a redneck American.

The Germans, Czechs and New Zealanders are now having the same problem with the London hop.

Why you think CCP can control the fact your getting packet lost to their servers confuses many people.
Sorry, but im having slowly enough of it too. White please, if you cant understand a problem then dont talk like you would know anything about it. You made 2 posts in the topic and only to **** off people. Look m8, these are the tags: - It's a problem that benefits more players - It's not caused by the local ISP since everything else than eve is working. - It's rolling on since the last patch.
Now, if you cant figure out of these 3 tags that eve messed up something somewhere then all i can do is to ask you the most polite way im able to, to keep your comments for yourself cause you lack something to be able to think and thus make no fakin sense. Thank you
I don't have a problem, I have heard really nobody else complain about it in game ( I am in the help channel alot. I will express my views on this forum, my knowlege on the subject has not made public, so don't make claims you cannot backup.
The problem is the route your isp has choosen to get to the desired location, its not something CCP can fix, although they can inform another node I suppose.
At least I post on my main, when I feel a certain way, I will express it. I don't hide behind an alt, or a main without posting my coperation. I recently left my coperation which is why its an NPC Coperation but thats besides the point.
Forum has a search button, try it. Beside of that this is my main, accusing ppl on generating secondarys shows only your mentality and not mine. Also, considered the fact that ppl with connection problems WONT post INSIDE the game? Seriously why am i even talking to you lol.

Yes I am Canadian, and I will Scan and Post my Birth Certificate as Proof if you want it.
I have been Dealing with Networking for the last 10 years, I know the Ins and Outs of it and can Program backbone Routers (and have) on many Occasions.
And I since I posted have been Running the Occasional Trace Route, as well as Ping tests and all the other Useful testing tools that I have picked up over the years (Nice free tool called Sam Spade for those that want)

So there you go. Worst time is 128 Milliseconds. So No, there is No problem with the London Hop. I suspect it's Faulty Routing on the Hop Just before the one you are having a problem with. Probably Passing to a Router that doesn't exist anymore and is getting defaulted to the Back up address which is now the main one. Or it's having to RARP/ARP to get the right address. Either Way, it's not London.

If I remember there was an earthquake in Kent which is next to London. Could it be the Londons Internet backbone has been damaged. Meaning its may not be a CCP or ISP problem but the cable between the two needs replacing.
Finding the right cable to dig up can take a few days but as London area has alot of Red tape you could be looking at a few months. If it crosses a main route road you could be looking at years.
