Just got my voice chat anabled, but I canŠt see anything ingame to use it, in audio options I still have the same old volume bars, I am running behind a firewall, is that a problem? Till now been using TeamSpeak without any trouble. Any ideas???

I have the same issue where the client does not allow you to join audio in right click channel tabs, and there are no extra voice settings to be found anywhere except for changing the talk shortcut. Petitioning it will result in a GM telling you to bug report it.
I ran logserver and noticed it threw an echo cancellation exception. Don't know what that is, but it mentioned it was a windows error. I tried out EVE Voice on various accounts, nothing changed. I tried from a fresh client, thinking it was maybe a cache problem.. nothing. EVE Voice also caused hard crash on my computer during the early phases of testing, that prevented me from logging onto sisi. They've fixed that problem, so perhaps this one and its apparent rarity may have something to do with my somewhat old sound card (Sound Blaster Live! 5.1).
Going to www.testyourvoip.com doesn't show any problems, and I've made sure to enable all the correct ports on my router's firewall. I simply don't get any EVE Voice UI options. I also ran windows sound configuration a few times, its working perfectly. My quality on teamspeak is also fine. I am also running the latest drivers from Creative Labs..
So really, have I left anything out here?

should be fine... eve doesn't require any ports opened, don't believe the voice does either. --- cheers, gordo |
