I had recently trained these skills
Skill trained photo
Upon logging in today I noticed that my skill queue had been reset to training Thermal Shield Compensation III, whereas when I had checked last night I was already an hour or two into training Industry IV. Interestingly my SP total appears to be correct, but I'm not certain of this.
Has anyone experienced similar issues?
Cheers, Aurora

I wish they could be more specific about what kind of reimbursement. Additionally, how would they know how much SP each person lost and take that into account? |

I think there are two options that are the most fair to the players that CCP can take. Each option should return SP as free SP and anywhere from 2.5%-10% bonus free SP, with the least amount of misallocated SP receiving the most and the most (say 15+mil) receiving the least bonus SP.
One option is to refund all skills over level V. I assume this would be the simpler solution, as the hard limits for SP per skill already exist and should be easier to revert to. The problem with this is that many people did not want a certain skill trained to x level and would therefore have lost potential SP trained into skills they wished to have.
The other option is to refund all skills trained since last login (e.g. all skillpoints allocated by the error and since then, including skills trained normally or SP injected normally since the Ascension update). This would be the most fair option, giving players the choice of skills that they would like to put the refunded SP into. However, this also has a big problem in that some players have titanic amounts of SP trained since last login, like the 49 million SP seen above. This may essentially give some players a skillpoint reset for them to do as they wish, but for free and without the SP loss associated with using Skill Extractors and Skill Injectors above 5mil SP. Additionally, this must be done soon, as the further we get from the Ascension update the more problematic this option will become.
There are problems with both solutions, and neither option would be completely fair to all players. I'm fairly certain CCP will choose an option most fair to all players, and I am sure that they have a plan to tackle this probably better than what I have written above. However, further delay will only yield further impatience. I was not greatly affected by the SP bug, but I'm sure many players were, and I implore CCP, whatever you do, please do it soon! |

This is a separate matter. I think what you've experienced is going from subbed status to Alpha clone status. Alpha clones can only train and use a limited number of skills. If you trained the skills before, you won't lose them, they just won't affect your gameplay until you become an Omega clone (subbed or plexed) again. |
