I ve been in the same boat, my second account is 8 years old and had a different address which I no longer have.
Having been a major IT incident manager in real life, I've dealt with total bugger ups like this before. (far bigger ones)
They usually come from bad planning in the dev/ change phase and the developers dump it on operations post implementation while patting themselves on the back for a great job done....
Operations in this case the support desk are running around with their pants on fire trying to fix an issue that wasn't there 5 days ago, the simple fix for it all is to roll back the changes to email verification and allow people to access their own accounts and email addresses.
At this stage CCP is probably on a very slippery slope being they are charging people subscriptions via credit cards but have basically blocked them from being able to change or cancel said subscription.

You need to add the object type to your overview, or target with RMB. If this isn't working for you, try Show All Brackets and selecting the bracket. if that still doesn't work please submit a bug report from within client immediately following reproduction of the bug.

further to my still unresolved issue regarding being unable to log in my main , i now get a 'this web page is unavailable ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED' message when i try to launch eve to play on my alpha account . uninstalling / reinstalling the launcher has not cured this . starting to get f**kin annoyed now |

ive been paying to play eve for 5 years continuously now .
i hoped that when i had any issues i'd get a better response than 2 automated replies over 5 days when i submit a ticket stating that i am unable to log in to play due to a problem that is so simple to rectify . i appreciate it's been a hectic time with all the issues with the latest patch , but this is unacceptable customer service |

As an Eve Player since 2009, with the new exspansion, and the fun and games with the email verification...
My experince as living in China and such and the fun with VPN's.....
With this new verification process is that it has been okish, the fact that i had to verify 10 accounts was fun...,
but it worked but all where linked to a microsoft based email account. i.e. Hotmail/outlook etc. it worked ok. being stuck here in china only Microsoft accounts are not blocked by state sponsered secret services, so ditch those Yahoo/Google accounts as they are being spied on by many country's i think this is the key point....
Yahoo/Google are the problem not CCP.

Nice try with the soft attempt to shift blame to the customers by implying they chose the wrong email service providers. That's not what's going on here.
CCP screwed up big time trying to roll out a new security system in too short a time with too little notification for people to find out and try to adjust in advance. There were bound to be problems, but CCP doesn't care about those until "Rome is on the edge of burning".
Read the problems that people have had; they are much more than spam-blocking by a few service providers. However, even for the latter it is CCP's fault for using a verification approach that would likely be detected as spam by a responsible service provider at the volumes of sending verification messages to your entire customer base . Over 90% of the email messages that the typical mail server receives these days are spam; they *have* to filter to serve their users well.
Don't be an apologist for CCP. They can defend themselves if being blamed unfairly. However, the blame is very well placed in this case, and the customers are fully justified in their dissatisfaction, anger, and frustration. |

I'd like to report a bug which started since the patch.
Since the november 15th/16th patch there is a bug with ice anomalies. When they are completed, sometimes they do not despawn, even though all the ice is gone. Eventually the anomaly despawns, never to spawn again until the next server reset.
Several people have reported this but I've seen no acknowledgment that devs even know about it. Where should I post this? Where is the patch issues thread?
Possibly related to this, is that so far, every time this bug occurs where the ice anomaly doesn't despawn when empty, my ice harvesting drone bugs out, and I can't give it commands - can't even scoop to drone bay. |

Trying to log on to my alts account, asks for the verification code, log onto my emails and nothing appears. Been waiting for around 4 hours now...
So, I am unable to play until this is resolved, as well as a skill que running. What happens to the game time I'm unable to use while unable to log in? And what happens if my skill que ends before this is resolved?

Fixed and thanks to Nokizaru. In case anyone else has this issues, this was the fix that Nokizaru shared with me that worked. ..... Run Launcher/ Settings/ General / Shared Cache (let it verify first...if you still have the issues - Use the 'Reset' then verify. Have a great weekend everyone. |

The only thing that CCP should be working on is getting their paying customers back online with their accounts. Nothing else matters at this point. If we can't login to play there is no need for any work to be done on the game. No one will be there to play it. And if something isn't done soon, they are going to lose paying customers by the thousands. You would think that their income source would be their top priority, and there really won't be any need for CCP at all if they don't fix this soon. like 24 hours soon. |

I see on another thread where a moderator claims that the email verification change was announced a month ago. To my knowledge, this is factually incorrect. Searching through the forums, dev blogs, and other EVE news channels, the earliest mention of this I can find is here on November 10, 2016:

Assuming that I am correct that this is the earliest public announcement of this change, it is not helpful for anyone in an official or semi-official capacity representing either CCP or EVE Online, including volunteers in sanctioned roles, to provide false information regarding this matter. Trying to spin this situation as something that was somehow announced well in advance to players is not conducive to improving relations with customers. We all want a resolution, but denying the core facts of how we got here does not improve matters but rather enflames them.

Yes it atleast acknowledges some of the bugger ups, but we don't need that right now we need every employee of CCP to be fixing the login issues as a Priority One Issue, doesn't matter if they are dev's, managers or friggin cleaners get it fixed! More frustrating then anything is people are getting replies about minor issues like their bio not being visible, but 100's of long time users not being logged in and we hear nothing for days on end

What's the ETA on restoring service to paying subscribers? Why have you not reversed the change to resolve the issue quicker?

I had the same issue, offlined and re-onlined cleared this but now if I try to load an Indy job, no facility is found and the facilities tab just shows an endlessly spinning icon.
I have raised a bug report (this char) but can't get the number as I also have an email conflict (ticket also raised). |

update; received a proper reply this morning from ccp asking me to clarify a few details which i've done .
thankful that there seems to be some progress but still locked out of main after 6 days

As frustrating as it might be folks calling for all of CCP to be working on the log-in problems is rather silly. A company isn't like an elementary school soccer team. Everyone has priorities and expertise--most of the employees probably don't even have any familiarity with the login/email problems and have their own jobs they are qualified and assigned to be working on. Meanwhile, there's been a major patch release, with dozens of bugs to sort through that all still need attention by qualified people alongside the larger issue. We all need to be a bit more realistic.
Growing to like the simulator as I get more familiar with it. Would even move away from 3rd party tools if it held more fittings. Also wondering if these are saved in a way that they can be pulled later if catastrophe struck and I had to reinstall for example---something similar to the overview?

Have the same problem with the facility is not found and just keep spinning. Then when trying to switch tabs, it is not possible to do so, it won't let you hit the jobs nor blue print tab.
When i jumped gate while making the bug repport then facilities showed up, when but i arrived at destination, nope it was not there anymore just the spinning icon again.
