Attempting to logging in to Sisi and i get the following message "legacy login disabled"
I know there was mention of having to login via the launcher when aplha become active, but i'm using the launcher now... So i'm assuming if this change is pushed to TQ i will not be able to login there either (also, i'm supposed to be attending some AT training... which is usually lots of fun.) |

EDIT: so in chat i've found out that the fallback is just running the exefile, so how do i get my launcher to launch properly??
Hi,
Can you post the launcher version you are using please? As a sidenote - the AT now has its own practice server called Thunderdome - more details here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=489852&find=unread

Like I said it was working for me last time I tried to get into AT practice It's working for everyone else and they have the same versions of launcher and sisi
But I still get this legacylogindisabled message
And I've tried launching sisi from both the launcher and the exefile
No boneo
So I deleted ALL sisi stuff
Re-downloaded
Error still happens
Also
When I try to copy profile settings the launcher crashes with this error
"Problem signature: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:evelauncher.exe Application Version:4.0.106.9348 Application Timestamp:57c7fb2c Fault Module Name:Qt5Core.dll Fault Module Version:5.6.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp:56c57566 Exception Code:c0000005 Exception Offset:0008045a OS Version:6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.49 Locale ID:3081 Additional Information 1:5861 Additional Information 2:5861822e1919d7c014bbb064c64908b2 Additional Information 3:6ee2 Additional Information 4:6ee2432e64e99bdcea5e4be767a3b1a2"

Okay, even odder. This evening i can't login to TQ (presumably the same issue has been brought over from SISI)
"Login through the EVE Online Client front end is disabled. Please use the EVE Launcher to log in at all times."
This is through the luancher, because it is still giving me the 'gui fallback'
Any chance i will be able to play eve again, or should i just ask for a refund of my sub fee right away? |

Ok, so lots of effort, but apparently i have to :
#1 install vcrun2013 Quote:winetricks vcrun2013
#2 Add msvcr120.dll native override (in winecfg)
#3 install and then disable d3d11 (wincfg)
#4 run in win XP mode (windows 7 mode still uses the fallback functionality) |

Do you have successfully launched EVE launcher with wine not in falling back mode with only server list? If so, please say which wine version do you use. In my version of wine (wine-1.7.55) and winetricks there is no vcrun2013 packet. The latest version available for me is vcrun2010. |

Have you tried the native Linux launcher? See https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=6503381#post6503381

Yes and No.
I did have success. I'm using wine-staging (which may be less stable but has more/newer features)
version : wine-1.9.19 (Staging)
The No is, yesterday i had some kind of crash and couldn't run anything... and somehow i ended up running the old launcher (which is no longer supported, but did give me back my old in-game settings, which is somewhere between helpful and annoying)
Yes, i believe, but can not confirm, that it only runs on 64-bit architecture, and i'm considering upgrading my OS as my cpu should be able ot handle it.
