Checked my attributes last night and all were cut to about half what they were pre-castor. The skill I have training currently seems to still be on schedule but when I highlight other skills the time required to train is reflective of my "new" attribute numbers.
I don't dare switch to see if actually training is correct by trying another skill because I'm halfway through a 8 day training cycle but I am also concerned that the training time shown as remaining is incorrect(which it isn't) and when it completes i'll get the completion immanent message bug.
Anyone know whats happening here. If you can catch me you can have me. |

Hmm, seem to remember something happening along these lines a while back when dealing with a patch. At that time, it was a cosmetic bug only, but I can't say it's that way with this instance. Though if training time stayed the same server side, i'd say cosmetic.
As for the extended times for the other skills, i doubt the client updates with the server every time you mouse over something, so since it's possible cosmetic client side, that would explain the long times.
Hope this helps til you get a reply on the bug report. ------------------- Basic truths? Idiots make us rich. - Some people are only alive because it is illegal to kill them. |

Even though the estimated time is not accurate the training time works fine. Estimated time for a skill showed about 6 hours but only took 4 hours to train. It seems to me that it work fine.

it still works as it should, but the numbers it displays are sometimes wrong. .

I have the same problem, but when I trained a new skill, the time was way higher than it should have been. Infact, it as 5.5 days versus the 4.25 days it should have been (rank 1 skill). I cleaded my cache, this fixed it temporarily but the bug reoccured. I would petion this but there is no suitable category and I fell that the "other" category will take days to hear from. Anyone have suggestions?

I get this whenever I swap ships in a session.
If I re-log its OK. I am fairly sure that its just a visual glitch and does not affect training.

it is just a visual bug, IMO.
when you switch ship your attributes are not shown correctly until you relog.
if you right click a skill the client calculates the time needed at the base of the wrong attributes. when you train it, the server calculates the time needed correct. -- my current auctions |

It is a bug that has been ingame for months now. is just getting worse and more frequent. your training should be correct. just the attributes show will be those you had at creation. Seems this has never been a priorty to be fixed issue. maybe someday they will fix it
