The latest economic report is ready providing all sort of stats and interesting information about the economy in New Eden.
Please check out CCP Quant's latest compilation Monthly Economic Report - June 2016.
Also feel free to check out the raw data and to compile (and share) your own interesting graphs!

By popular demand, I've made some minor tweaks on the graphs, making them more readable and colorblind-bro friendly. Also, a CSV dump of all PVP kills is now included in the zip. |

Another drop in active ISK. That's three months in a row. Mineral index is high. I better check my price basis for my manufacturing. Maybe its time to sell the minerals instead.

When you show the total value destroyed by region, mining by region etc..
You are showing pictures of the regions. do you really think anyone recognizes the region by what they "look like"?
It'd be far more valuable to represent that information through a pie chart, or through a bar chart, or a frequency distribution, or really anything but what you did. |

In future reports, could WHs be added into the various region categories? Perhaps by size (c1-c6) or just w-space as a single region. It might not be very significant but the data isn't complete without it. : ) |

Hi CCP Quant!
One question....are citadels included on this market data?
Just asking because broker fees went from 18T to 11T, and Jita total market trade value went from 595T, 597T, 517T in March, April and May respectively, to 399T last month.

No I think those graphs are one of the most useless ones I've made originally I made them for a Vegas presentation but decided to include them in the economic reports simply because the code was already there. I'll never do pie charts though, frequency distribution would need some variable for binning, I could use solarsystems within the regions... actually that could be nice. |

I would really like to add wormholes to the report. However, first we'll have to come up with lore-reasons for why we have that data available, wormholes being out of concord's reach and all |

They *should* be included, I'll get back with a confirmation on it. A drop like this could be explained by various factors. Way more people logged in when the expansion was released compared to today (more people are on vacation or outside ), we had an active war back then which is not so active now, citadels were originally very expensive then settled down with time, some part of trading is moving into 0% brokers fee citadels, etc. etc. |

Doesn't concord record data on all capsuleer activity? I remember something about Concord telling us to defiantly not go into wormholes when they first appeared (only to find out they wanted us to go there so they could collect data and not risk any Concord personal). |

I thought the standard rats can be in W, and have bounties. How does CONCORD know about our standard rat kills in W?

20% seems quite a big drop in total market trade value in a month.

Last September was 272T in Jita, September Trade report, so I suspect it might actually be March, April & May were anomalies being 20% (or more) higher trade value, rather than a sudden drop from normal trade.
Additionally the increased tax makes start to end production more competitive, so products half way along the chain are probably seeing lower movement. I'm not sure if I'm reading right, but the SPPI has shown a dramatic drop in the last few months, which is the part way products I think? |

How much stuff in terms of ISK value is accumulated in all Fortizars in the cluster? How high is their trade volume compared to that of the standard hub stations?

I find it interesting that in addition to a reduction in total isk in the system, that the SPPI is at its lowest point since mid-2010 when it spiked hard and stayed there (possibly due to Dominion expansion?), and that the CPI appears to be at its lowest point ever.
On the CPI graph, what constitutes the "Accessories" sub-category?

February was 797T, I think the PCU has increased a bit from last September, but, yes, this spring was a higher volume than previous periods.
The increased tax has dropped off, Transaction tax went down by 1.5T, and brokers fees went down by 7T from last month, the SPPI I also think is the partway products.
Another reason for the spring being an anomaly is that Jita was in positive trade balance during spring, which is not normally the case.
Still would be interesting to know if citadels are included in the data, as, it looks like ranged buy orders from them are around 8% of jita volume
