From build 27756 patch notes:
Quote: Agents collecting common pirate dog tags have been created and placed inside data centers around the galaxy. The common dog tags include copper, bronze, silver, electrum, brass, palladium, gold, crystal, platinum and diamond tags for all 5 major pirate factions.
Has anyone found any of these agents?

I looked all over for these agents. I believe they forgot to put them in. Somewhere in that patch notes it specifically says state data centers. Only the 2 or so agents accepting the lowest 2 types of tags are there and they only accept them once. I believe these couple of agents were in the game long before the patch notes you are quoting.

Thank you for your reply. I hope some Devs notice this thread. Maybe, as you suggested, something has been forgotten.

I'm wondering what type of tags will be needed as there are a lot of officer / faction tags that are still not in use other then sold in NPC stations and to other players

I shall answer this threaed in my old old way of posting an imaginary, perhaps even humorous, discussion heard inside the CCP office module:
"Hey, so we launched the patch yesterday." "Good good, everything went smoothly?" "Yes, quite. The downtime after it came a bit late though." "Well, next time try to set the reset routine a bit more efficient." "Ofcourse sir."(i don't know why i went the militray route...) "Now you included everything?" "Yes sir." "EVERYTHING?" "Yes! Ships, guns, missions, fixes, bugs....everything!" "What about the common dogtag agents?" "The what sir?" "Common dogtag agents, the ones that...gather the common dogtags." "I've...never heard of those sir." "What?! It's in the patch notes!" "I think you're mistaken sir." "Now look here...."*blip bloppety bliip(and other computer noises)* "See? Agents collecting yada yada yada...." "Oh that sir!" "Yes...?" "It's working as intended." "...what?" "You see, we tell the players that there are these kind of agents..." "Mhmm..." "And then we leave them out. Brilliant ain't it?" "I fail to see the cause of your exitement..." "Well if we tell them they are there, and then leave them out, people will leave systems and spread out to other places to find them. Thus, we eliminate some of the more populated areas." "And you think some dogtag gathering agents are a strong enough insentive to do THAT?" "Well you ahven't seen the next patch notes have you sir?" "Don't even want to know..." (at this point i just didn't know what i was doing and decided to stop )

There certainly were agents in space in the Emolgranlan centre from quite some time ago - up to L4 Q20 iirc. I made a post about in the mission section some time ago which i can't find atm because none of the agents except the two lowest would actually give missions (to collect bronze tags).
Haven't been back there in a while so not sure what status is atm -------------------------------------------------- brakespear - the lowest common denominator |

Missions? I thought these agents should have been able to accept any dog tags provided, without any missions.

Apologies - by missions i meant 'Go get me 20 Angel Bronze Tags' or whatever . I should have been clearer in my meaning. -------------------------------------------------- brakespear - the lowest common denominator |

I can confirm that there is a "State Data Centre" in Kamokor in the Lonetrek region. What? You were expecting it to be in Jita?
