I have noticed something about the EVE community If you are 'famous', have a status or blowing the right people you naturally get flooded with likes, mind you there is a certain douchebag that is so sad he is liking himself and has done since the forum war started but then he is in Goonswarm so can you really be surprised
I find this both sad and disappointing, so therefore I have decided to use my remaining days of being subbed and will like anyone that posts in this thread with all my remaining chars, alts and accounts, I hope to make you 'less than 200 likes' people higher than all those other cunts
Truth be told I am finding it impossible to get hooked on games, I would like to but I feel im immune, it isnt just EVE, WOW isnt making me moist either, RL has been pretty cool but I hardly doubt that is the reason I dont like playing games anymore. I cant help feeling my years playing games were time not well spent, the guilt somewhat draws me back to 'complete' something :/.
Then once im back I have no desire to play, odd tbh a few years ago I would happily dedicate unhealthy amount of times shooting pointless structures setting my alarm to join pointless ops only to listen to pointless people give me orders and hear other pointless people laugh at dumb jokes on comms.
Maybe it is because EVE has gotten stale, maybe it is because RL is too good, maybe it is because saying "arrow to the knee" after everything in real life will get you beaten up. Who knows
For content, why do you think people get hooked on games? Sure it is nice to assume it is all for 'fun', but when does doing something fun become an addiction and when does the game become a reality?
Oh also if this thread gets 10 pages I will biomass ALL my accounts, the game is fine but sadly this addiction looks like it wont be returning, at least this way I will be gone for good and not sub randomly for no reason :D or at least until WOD comes out, if it ever does
As for stuff, I will give my stuff to the first ice miner poster who has lost the most macks / hulks this month (API verified kills required)

Please don't biomass your accounts. There's a, although maybe small, chance you'll regret that some day.

Thanks and good luck for your future endeavours. While the OP is a big freakin' yawn, this right here brings up an interesting point...
what's worse? The regret of biomassing the toons, or the unhealthiness of getting hooked again? |

I have always thought of EVE as a game for players with balls, which is a rather ironic comment considering how 0.0 turned out, tbh despite already quitting haha I cant see any other decent way to 'leaving' that is more fitting for EVE. |

You are now aware that you can recover biomassed characters, I've done it like 3 times. I've also 'quit' like you countless times. Not saying that you will, but humans aren't built for stable contentment, rl will become dull and boring and you will once again realize what you are, completely alone in your own bleak mortality you only share in a vauge commonality, and you will come back here. Fare thee well young lad |

Can we get gold stars instead? They're just as valuable as likes and they're prettier to boot. Likes are supposed to indicate a post of value. IMO, we need "useful" or "informative" and "funny" tags as well.

For the social aspect and you'll want to read up on a "skinner box" and Dr Skinner's work in general.

Just take a break.
You may want to try out RIFT. I played it while away from EVE. Think of it as a better version of WOW. Graphics are beautiful and the gameplay can be a little addictive. It's very different from EVE so it's an entriely new expereince.

I can't believe people are telling OP to "oh, stay, oh don't biomass, oh come back!" when OP calls all of us cunts (why is that word not in the profanity filter) and douchebags, and goes on to ramble incoherently for a wall of text. Seriously, OP needs to biomass EVERY character, unintstall EVE, and have the entire game surgically removed from his brain. Good riddance. |

Good luck, man! Sorry to see you go...
Instead of giving all your stuff to one person, why not be fair and spread it among many?

You are WRONG.
This is my main and only character. I started posting here near the beginning of November.
Look at all these likes I have.

True fact, I got almost all my "likes" posting about how much I dislike the NeX store and the "hybrid" model (subs+MT)
I think its less to do about who you are and more to do about what you might say.
(That said I've almost noticed Lyris (self love) Nairn ... lol tbh.)
