What char race/school is the quickest to get to an indy. I was primarily wondering if it is possible to get frig 3 and spaceship command 3 on a brand new char. Nav skills would be a nice addition to.

Race doesn't matter. It's possible with each race to get frigate lvl 4 in creation. Don't think you can get s.c. lvl 3 though.
Just try it out...

I'm pretty sure I built a Minmatar Brutor with both frig 4 and spaceship command 3. Almost completely certain. He had afterburner as well, tho I had to buy him indy and mechanic.

Any Amarr and then captain training is the quickest way to a high volume hauler for the least training. Your starter charachter ends up with frigate 4 and Spaceship command 2. You just need to train Spaceship command to level 3 and then Amarr Industrial to level 1 and you can fly a bestower. It is also usefull to add navigation, afterburner and mechanic to level 1. You can then fit 4 ab's for a reasonable speed and four cargo expanders for an easy total of 6886m3 with less than 24hrs of training. If you take the time to train Amarr indy up to level 3 (another 2 days at most i think) you will get just over 7000m3 cargo --------------------------------------------- Engineers motto; If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks it needed replacing anyway. |
