With the new T2 Scrams, and the low skill requirement for them, how have they effected you?

Lol at the trolls.
What im asking is if its made an impact on anyones combat here? I know with me, that sometimes jumping through a gate, i seem to land 19km away from someone, them quickly getting out of scram range. The extra 4km will deffinately help.
Also with tacklers, being now that they can stay further away from their target and keep it scrammed.

if you going to fork it out for a t2 disruptor, those are mostly the same people that paid for faction. so nothing has changed.

Faction 24k scrams existed before, the only difference is that the T2 ones are going to bring the price down.

Not as such, bought a few for 30m. Being that the faction ones go for 80+ it now means you dont have to have money for pretty faction stuff to get that extra range.

Edited by: Aramendel on 17/01/2007 13:02:21 Right now they are stil a bit too expensive to have any real impact. When prices have fallen down to the 10 mil area than you can ask this question.

You could get the Dread Gurista WDs - the only faction WDs which have the same stats as the WD2 - for about 40-50 mil before. So it's not a *huge* difference.

Yep im aware of that, used DB ones myself. Just interested to see now that they are available to your "average joe" how they will effect combat, if any. From a carebears perspective and a PvP'rs.

Well this doesnt really affect me atm, maybe the enemy starts dropping better loot and people fit less stabs, because they think you are using a T2 scram (not...) _________________________________________________ Breetime

I didnt know there was t2 scrams in the game either. Well, at least 24 km makes it slightly easier for the Tempest to not get wiped out by the Mega while still keeping him in the fight.

When the prices go down it will give the average tackler a big boost vs the average npc'er who fits a t1 nos.

It's still a 1pt scram so no real change there.
Now, give me 2pt at near 20km and then we can expect a major change in solo/small gang PvP.

You should have a Eos in gang with the warfare links and use a Domi Disruptor. From memory I think I got 70km range.
