PLEAS DEV's, hear my plea....I want to start building capital ships with out going back and forth 1millon times for one ship.

Fixed and made more readable since I'm bored.
While I think I did see something like a POS docking ring on the Drawingboard ages ago, that doesn't seem to be the case any more, so I have no idea what CCP is really thinking about the matter. I agree that ferrying Capship components to a POS is a major pain in the rear, though. I can't think of anything (except Outpost construction? Hmm.) that Freighters being able to dock at POS would unbalance, as freighters are very vulnerable by themselves and do need a considerable escort. ________ Capitalization is the difference between "I helped my uncle Jack off his horse." and "I helped my uncle jack off his horse."
Help the horses, make proper use of that shift button. |

I want to know how much time it would cut off the prodution time of one capital ship if freighter's could be used at a pos.
wouldn't this also mean that there could be more capital ships out there for sale and mabe the cost of them to go down?

We built a titan.
If it wasn't for the sheer annoyance factor of running literally thousands of indy trips again, we would probably have not too much trouble buiding another one.
If isk cost of the components is not a brake on the expansion of capital fleets, the logistics involved in building them must be. Allowing freighters to do that work makes building capitals at pos a piece of cake, since the monerals and components can easily be bought, and 20b isk for a mothership is easily made.

Firstly this is only a problem for Cap ship arrays, from my understanding, Freighters, carriers and dreads can be built in a station, stations can dock freighters so its no real problem.
However for those who want to build motherships, you already have a huge corp just get 10-15 guys together and do the warp to 0 dance for a day or two. ------------- Cadet Lithalnas - Logistics Division - Hadean Drive Yards

DONT let freighters dock in my opinion....
Cos heres the process.. get 2-3 freighter alt scum... get 20 guys to escort them deep in 0.0 after DT...
Launch 4-5 pos's from each, get the gaurds to anchor it all.
Fuel them from freighters, log off.
Log alts on to refuel and empty moon arrays every few days.
Escort months of harvesting back en masse.
thats not good for gameplay...
cap ships jumping all the ore back and forth isnt good either.. they arent vulnerable... they dont have to make a lot of jumps to get to safer areas... but it is neccessary for deep 0.0 i guess.
