All capsuleers of Greater Amarria, Caldari allies, and neutral parties are called to worship God in a memorial service for the dead of the Second Battle of Mekhios. The service will take place at 2300 on 5.7.117 at the Amarr Legio Basilica on Amarr Prime.

Yeah, goddie. Thank you for not killing everyone. I guess that works.

Having done a calculation on based on this military statistics board for June 27: https://zkillboard.com/ship/34495/
In accordance with New Eden Ship guidelines, we can estimate that between 80 - 100k servicemen were present aboard Amarrian and Caldari loyalist forces who succumbed to the drifters.
Assuming that some were able to make it to savior pods, or that some were able to survive in the wreckage, we can assume perhaps around 9,000 survivors, and around 84,000 in deceased or MIA.
Heinous. Will the Empress declare war?
Would those helping with the search and rescue provide an update on rescue efforts, and how many we anticipate honoring at the Memorial? |

We extend our sincere condolences to the survivors of this great loss.
We understand that death can often be a complicated matter, and we wish to extend a helping hand to the survivors. Our personal specialization is not in matters of burials and wills but we can guarantee the availability of these legal services in relation to this tragic event for citizen survivors of Amarr, either pro bono, or at worst for the bare cost of filing paperwork. We can extend our own personal attention as a solicitor to such matters which may require inter-Empire or cross-border legal work.
To keep matters under attorney-client confidentiality, I strongly recommend contacting me through email for any case-specific inquiries or questions.

So, after finding my login/password to IGS in one of the Amarr encyclopedias in my office (No idea how it ended up there, honestly. Encyclopedias are top notch though, I looked through 8 of them just today, actually), I would like to express my apologies.
I am terribly sorry for what I said yesterday. What was I thinking?

A question of war is not of politics, but of vengeance for the faithful departed . I can think of no greater way to honor their sacrifice than to exact justice on those who have enacted this very atrocity.
For shame if you reduce that intention to mere politics. |

Archbishop Abraxas, if I may, it is often good form to accept apologies gracefully, so that both may move forward to more productive and happy dealings. I might suggest that path now.

I was not referring to your service, Ms Main, but to those amongst your enemies who might use this opportunity to attack the memory of the fallen.

Your apology is graciously accepted.

I am going to assume that you are speaking in generalities. Otherwise you were just kicking someone when he was down out of arrogance. And arrogance for the sake of arrogance does not become a member of the clergy. "For we are his shepherds in the darkness. His Angels of Mercy." The young man had already been publicly singled out by his CEO and apologized. Heaping more scorn upon him does no good at this point. |

We may hope that in following their duty even unto death, the fallen have reached the gates of paradise. In this remembrance, we can renew our faith in the Lord, through which the victorious dead live on. In our faith, the dead will remain with us for, "When thine actions are in Light's name, thou art immortal." In remembering the shepherds who have passed before us, "We are brothers... And in God we shall remain brothers for all of time." Joined in faith, the fallen remain with us, because "only in God can we thrive and grow. Only in God."
I will gladly attend. |
