I have now FINALY played around on test-server with this ship, and i must say i like it alot (even though my lack of 425IIs)
Still, some ques is in my head, witch might best suit for patch questions, but its about the ship alright.
First of
Any1 got a nice Sniping setup? tank may sure just be a small II booster, only it works ;)
2nd
How much will the accualy ship cost? havent even got a clue of it but i recon atleast over 140 mil.
Finaly
Where and how will the rokh, adn any other new ship type be seeded in hte game? will just a X number of BPOs be on sale, or maybe a limited number of Ships and a few BPOs or a mix of both?
Tech 2 425s is on thetop of my Xmass wish list atm (will take longer time than that to get them though) and a Rokh is also close to top.
So plz give me some info about how it will be done. |

Prices should stabalise at about the 180-200m mark. Expect to pay more to begin with as supply won't be able to keep up with demand for the first few days/weeks.
The new ships will all be seeded onto the open market in the form of BPO's. Anyone can buy one and start manufacturing them.
425 II's are nice, but also expensive at 15m each on average. They are a pain to fit on the Rohk. Have you considered 350 II's? The range bonus works nicely with them, the DPS is quite similar, and they cost under 3m each.

Setup:
T1 named guns (low skill reqs FTW - use iridium or something) 3xsensor booster 3xtracking computer power diagnostics and mag stabs to taste
If you reeealy want to tank it a bit put some large shield extenders on at the expense of damage/range, or a shield extension rig etc.

You shouldn't be tanking in it, especially not actively. It's a sniper-ship, best off >200km away.
If other people can hurt you, a small shield boost isn't going to save you.

no, mine will have 425 IIs with all Tech 2 Items equipped. All Tech 1 items would take 1 or 2 months to get, But I want to be the best sniper in my fleet :). My skills for a SnipeRokh are in the following 2 posts if you want them.

I have a +3 Per implant, a +3 Int implant, a +3 Char implant, a +2 Mem implant, and a +2 Will implant.
When I buy my +3 Mem and +3 Will implants, it will cut training time by an additional 5 days.

8x 425 T2 with spike 1x XL SB T2, 1x Invun field T2, 2x sensorbooster T2, 2x TrackComp T2 2x Powerdiag T2, 3x Magstab T2
Im not 100% if the lowslots are right, havent checked the setup in a few weeks, but with BS 5 and max shield skills you tank like a beast while outranging any other battleship on the field (you could swap a magstab for a tracking enhancer just to be sure noone else will touch you). The 3 magstabs are needed so you do any sort of damage (even though i have Large Rail spec 5, it still does crappy dmg with no mag stabs) since it doesnt get any dmg bonus.

I like the last one, as atleast a Booster of some sort will be needed, and range mods wont realy.. But 180-200 mil a ship?? thats double for a tier2 man.. seems a bit much, but if consruction-costs is that high, it most suit it..
Anyway i got to get one, its such a nice ship.
But whoever said to snipe with t1 rails? 1: Your dmg will suck 2: to be called a sniper u must have optimal over 150km (there again, your DMG suck without a bonus 3: Well.. its T1 man! u have to use t2 if u plan to do dmg while sniping, nonthless, i will use t1 blasters if i ahve to rat in it, witch i might have to do.

All you see on sisi these days is the vampyrokh..
4 x nos 4 x t2 launchers Uber shield tank BCUs + anything needed to fit the above.
They are pretty much solo pwnmobiles..

i may not be right anymore but i am retty sure that this is the setup i fitted on my Rokh on Sisi.
hi: 8x 425mm t2
mid: 1/2 large shield extender 2/3 sensor booster t2 1x invulnerabillity field t2 and 1x tracking computer
Low: 3 Magnetic field stabilizers 1/2 tracking enhancers 0/1 damage control
There you have an all in one massive sniper setup with the mother of al passive tanks ... well over 15k shield with decent resists. works nicely.

Wow, fitting modules. Just like every other ship, it takes fitting modules to have full rack of best T2. Or if your Amarr, fitting modules for both the best and 2nd best.

According to mineral costs on Sisi, its gonna be around 180 mil build cost, so probably 200+ for the first few weeks.

13,7k shield with resists from 70-87 if I remember correct. I can hit from 0-15 km with Void and 0-30km with Void (roughly). its not a solo pwn mobile, but it cant be killed 1on1 either....
