Gallente Federal Navy Academy

We're in our final stretch now at the Academy for the level I'm in. The light at the end of the tunnel can be seen and there is an air of excitment building amongst our outgoing class. Classes and lessons for some time now have long moved on from theory to nuts and bolts practice and implementation.
There is however an uneasy tension in the Academy. During meal times there is still talk about the elections, there has even been a fight or two a couple weeks back before polling even began. There is also a lot of talk about the Caille University, but I'm sure thats just our rivalry. Then again our rivalry didn't include hate speech about Intaki's in the past and that kind of talk isn't limited to the UoC either as much as you hear the words Senate or Administration.
It would be nice if the FNA was as united behind closed doors as we appear to be in public or during inspection. But these are not simple times.
They've been letting us do contract work outside of the Academy for a little while now to prepare us for corporate work postgraduation. Many of my Academy mates are doing work for FNA agents or even working for the Federation Navy itself. Very exciting! Being a capsuleer really puts a different perspective on life. Thinking you're better than all the weak planetsiders and finally knowing it are two different things. Maybe I'm just an elitist, and so be it then.
I've decided to use my time flying outside of the FNA for doing more than running errands for other corporate officers. I've begun sacking Caldari, Minmatar and Amarrian convoys in the Genesis area. I won't commit simple crimes in Gallentean space and tarnish it. However there are 4 unfortunate State War Academy pilots who wandered into Essence where they do not belong and found themselves in a pod after arrogantly refusing to leave. CONCORD may not have liked it, and I don't like my new security status. I won't let myself graduate in bad legal standings. That would not reflect well on this Academy or the Federation.
I'm struggling with my gravitations towards cruelty and maintaining a straight life. My violent past is why I decided to enter the Academy in the first place, and better myself. However I was blinded by passions when doing a service for the Federation Intelligence Office. The Caldari were sending an armed convoy through Gallente space and I was contracted to stop it, capture their militants and bring them back to the station for interrigation, maybe even some old fashioned torture.
I recovered more militants than the government was willing to hold over and I was allowed to keep a group of them for myself. Not knowing what to do with Caldari militants nor wanting to have them around I decided to send a message and use these pathetic troops as an example.
I flew out as close to the star that my shields could allow, ordered the militants into a jet can over the intercom and jettisoned them into space. I labeled the can "HELP US! IT'S HOT IN HERE." This is funny to me because normally it'd be freezing in that can as we all know. I only wanted to cook them for a little while. Well I couldn't stop laughing and a little while turned into quite an extended passage of time and suddenly the can just went to dust with the slightest "poof" audible inside the ship. Not the result I was going for, but somehow it was satisfying none-the-less.
So this is how I'll remember my final stretch in the Academy. Good times, great times, wine, women and more wine with some hard times hitting the books and a little Caldari death thrown in the mix for spice. I'll post again describing the formal graduation event and maybe I'll have a tale or two of more pain to share.

Nice to see that the Federation is safe and protected by an egomaniac and murderer like yourself.
Stories like this make me sick to my stomach. Now I know why I feel so dirty for actually living among you people for a year.

Edited by: Ezekiel Sulastin on 19/11/2006 07:21:18 Hrm, I was fairly certain the Navy Academy had reinstated stricter standards to make graduates more professional. At least, that's what they said they did. Mayhaps a couple of you slipped through the fissures, but I certainly do not think you could be a drunken murderous sexpot and still graduate from a military institution.

Get real. You must read the Scope too much. All that clean image nonsense. Let's be realists here. The FNA is training professional pilots that is to say killers, as they should. I've done nothing against Federation policy in secure space. My actions are cited by CONCORD. I'm free according to my Federation rights to tell the universe about what happens anywhere, especially if those crimes were outside of Federation space. The superiors at the FNA shouldn't take action because there is no obligation to.
Don't you all act so squeamish in this way either, I'm sure it's not like many of you haven't jet canned a few losers or a Minmatar slave or two in your careers also. ________________________________________________________________________________ "My once immaculate white pants are now stained from the weak and innocent. Edited by: Myxx on 20/11/2006 12:24:44 As a graduate of the Federal Naval Academy myself over a standard year ago, I can confidently say citizens like him are -not- what they train at the academy.
We are trained to a far higher standard of professionalism, I would hope this fellow loses his license should his instructors hear of his murder.
You can feel safe knowing that ones like him are rare cases that slip through the small *****s, luck ones at that. You are a disgrace to the entire naval academy and the federation itself.
As for the trainee... <sighs and shakes her head> You have committed murder, killing is one thing but disposing of helpless citizens into space is dishonorable.

I might add that this is the sort of behavior that comes from a society of undisciplined hedonists - people who are not used to having to follow rules, ethical and moral standards, or orders.
Frankly, I'm surprised we don't hear more of this sort of thing.

Care to explain just why you would sack Matari convoys when we are the essentially the only ally you have against a hostile world? Ggranted we wouldnt be here if it hadn't been for the Gallente support of the Matari rebels during the revolution, but fact of the matter is we are the only sovrereign power that stands with you at this point in time (and if there is another of equal or greater relavence than the Republic feel free to correct me)
Originally by: readpants I won't let myself graduate in bad legal standings. That would not reflect well on this Academy or the Federation.
Oh, don't worry about that, you've beyond disgraced those entities.

I'd say there is no struggle within you, your pension for cruelty has quite obviously triumphed. As for your monstorous excecution of the Caldari militants, while their sending insurgents might be an act of war; your treatment of said insurgents upon capture would be considered a war crime even among the Amarr.
You know, after reading most of your tirades here on galnet I believe you would be quite at home among the Blood Raiders! Sure you might be a homicidal beast even by their standards, but im sure they would be happy to accept someone who has such a low value for human life as you do. Whatever you do kindly leave the Federation before you further dishonor my people's beloved ally.

Its bad enough that you were born under the Gallente flag, but to join the Navy just as an excuse to murder the helpless, well that's unforgivable. I vividly remember my days at the Academy, they were long, grueling, and often unbareable. But if there's one thing I learned it is to respect the lives of all pilots. Even those that commit crimes should be dealt with by the state, not through rogue acts carried out by individual pilots such as yourself.
Every time I see a Gallente in space I must remind myself that the actions of your fathers are not your burdens to bear. I will never like the Federation but there are some good Gallente pilots out there. You are not one of them.
As stated before, I do not support revenge. The State will deal with you in due time. But, the constant skirmishes against the Guritas take alot out of me and all the synthetic coffee has made my hands twitch. I cannot guarentee that my hand won't spazm and accidently hit the fire button. Such mistakes do happen when you are in a constant state of readiness. It would be a shame to waste a torp on the likes of you though.

Redpants, dear boy, you need help. If you wish to embrace the life of piracy then so be it, regardless of what ideology motivates you. But if you want to serve the Federation with honour and integrity then I recommend that you seriously rethink your methods.
To be quite frank you're letting the side down, my dear lad. Bragging about murder is really not the done thing, committing it in the first place is pretty jolly rotten. If you really want to put your guns and drones to good use then get in touch.

This is the aspect of Gallente society that drives the other half crazy. This blindness for what is "right."
I'm tired of my comlink beeping all the time lately while I'm trying to fly and do business. It seems this conversation from Galnet has spilled over into my pod and I want to make this very clear to all of you then so you'll let me fly in peace.
Was it tourists that were killed? Was it government officials? How about this, were they CIVILIANS? No they were not civilians nor were they performing in any civilian capacity. I executed Caldari soldiers.
They were armed and trespassing in Gallente space. Not good enough for you then? No reason to kill? Open your minds! Do you think they were here for humanitarian purposes? Do you think that an armed convoy was here to help the Gallente people or hurt us? I say again that I probably saved the lives of somebody you know. We'll never know, but I may have saved as many Gallente lives as they had bullets. They had weapons and were on a mission (to do...good?) They got what they had coming and they got what they deserved! The only more humanitarian way I could have dispatched these criminal terrorists is to put a bullet in their brains personally.
Now let's also get off the punishment issue. Do you think that the FNA really is concerned with what I did or what might happen to them? Obviously many of you are. The FNA never had anything to do with what I did as it was contractual work, and secondly the employer wiped his hands of the situation the moment he returned the militants to me and walked away. What did he expect me to do with these criminals? Keep them in my cargo bay forever I suppose. Let them starve perhaps? Keep them around and give them a chance to escape?!
What I did was not a nice thing but don't stray into right and wrongs here. I saved Gallente from some capacity of harm from these individuals. ________________________________________________________________________________ "My once immaculate white pants are now stained from the weak and innocent. As I see it, you killed POWs, and as far as I know, this is a crime. Sure they were armed, sure they were trespassing but the second you captured them, they became prisoners and should be treated according to convetions. Only right thing to do would be to turn them to Federal Navy.

You are a murderer and a coward. This confession will hopefully get all your liscence applications revoked, and you will be thrown into a correctional facility for the rest of your days. Good riddance too.
