It's going to be difficult for you to justify to the ASCN members exactly why you won't take your Titan out onto the playing fields when there is a BoB titan there day in day out.
Enjoy.

Err sorry to question you Oh evil one, I have just checked your kb and cant see Shrike killing anything with a Titan and I see Cyvok has quite a few kills (even if some are friendlies).
I appreciate your trying to goad Cyvok into your evil trap so you can claim killing 1st Titan etc, but just can you let us know how many kills you've had, and do you think its worth it?

there were 4 of us at the POS when you deployed the doomsday weapon.
After the weapon deployment there was one POD and one CAN right above the POS where that ginormous (is that a word?) blinding flash of light was. It stands to reason that at least ONE of your ships was toasted in that blast. I did not observe the pod or the can prior to the weapon deployment.
There were other pods and cans prior to the deployment as a result of POS fire, but they were in a different location entirely.
Since we do not have access to your killmails only you know the truth. To me as an eyewitness it indeed looked like you nuked one of your own. Thus you are being rather personally antagonistic to Cyvok, but you know that already.
Cheers,
V.

Serioulsy, this is like the third post you have made now about smelling the fear. I think you may have some sort of nasal dysfunction.
The only thing you are smelling from our end is some boredom and frustration.
In all seriousness, I dont see what the Bob crew have to crow about, you have the best overall leadership in the game, cream off most of the best/most dedicated pilots from other corps within the game and then act like its some kind of achievement when things go your way.
Try beating a Bob gang with a mixed gang of noobs then you have achieved something. As has been said before, being in Bob = playing EVE on easy mode.
LOL - I've been thinking the same thing!
Do you remember:
"The Fear", and then
"The Fear Part II"
Now there is more fear afoot in the universe of Eve.
One might think that DBP has some issue with fear.

I don't see why there is any danger in deploying a titan. Its not as if you will EVER have it out of a safespot.
No, of course it will never leave the safespot, neither will our Motherships.

According to my calculations, it would take about 2600-3000 iteron 5s to haul the stuff to the pos. So, did you have 100 people do it 30 times, or 10 people do it 300 times?
Who were there? And someone give them a medal.
Its worse. We also used normal bestowers. And every part is 10.000 m3 big. Let's say we've exchanged alot of jokes during the hauling
And again.. its a BOB's titan, cos we are a Bob corporation
So thats like 1 component per trip? That must be over 8000 trips?
How long did that take?

There are some arguments to that, but it'll also significantly cheapen the accomplishment of actually building these big ships.
Personally I think that freighters should remain station-to-station ships only, and haulers (plus carriers/dreads if you want) would have to do the station-to-POS transports. While it is boring to do so, it creates that sense of accomplishment at the end that is both a significant reward, but is also important in creating an esprit-de-corps.
My views are my own. They do not represent the views of my corporation or alliance. |

Abouttime word got out about BoB's new e-peen!!!
I clone jumped into BoB space earlier this week to grab some old equipment from my days in the 20th. There were Bunch of EVOL in local, more so than I ever remember seeing when I use to hang around that system. When I undock this is what I end up seeing...
They told me to keep quiet, which was very, very, hard to do...but I managed.
Though I did manage to grab a ton of screen shots. At the moment I happen to be out of town ,the ony shot I managed to post online was a far off shot showing the size of the Titan compared to a npc station...
This was the same day that I ended up playing a small part in the retaking of PNQY, two firsttime experiences in one day. After having such bad luck for the past month this was a wecome experience for me.
Glad to see that it didn't tkae long for it to take action.

First I want to congratulate BoB and EVOL for accomplishing such a huge task of building a Titan.
It doesn't take a rocketscientist to figure out why BoB choosed to take it out of the hangar at this time of war. Once again the BoB-strategists have impressed.
Cyvok probably doesn't realize it himself, but being the first one enlightening the EVE-players about that BoB now has a Titan further demoralizes his own alliance, from a psychological standpoint. Think about it for a moment.
I'm proud to call BoB my friends, but in my personal opinion they have made one mistake... they should've named the Titan "Demoralizer I".
Regards,
/Dar.

I definitely respect all the ASCN soldiers out there fighting each day for their clueless HC. After reading this id have to say I feel sorry for ASCN pilots who blindly follow a disillusioned leader that after all the funding to build a titan, delcares it useless. Had some of you been on the other side in a different dimension (or whatever), you'd see the glory of fighting alongside great pilots, and for great leaders, that appreciate your dedication as much as you do theirs.

Goloth, couldn't agree with you more. I don't think this post has added any confidence to the ASCN pilots, but probably the opposite, except for those die-hard Cyvok followers. First was the entire deception behind building the Titan where everyone in ASCN was asked to mine and mine for minerals and were never told why, and now that they have this HUGE Ship, the leader of the Alliance calls is 'useless'. Perhaps he should hand over the keys to somenoe else then ans see how well they do with it?
Also, I want to congratulate Evolution and the entire BoB Alliance for accomplishing such a monumentous task of building a Titan. I was hoping to actually see one of the other racial Titans come out, but another Amarr ain't bad.
Also admire the secrecy of Evol and BoB for keeping their Titan Hidden, instead of making it into another big thread. BoB keeps impressing me with their abilities. Who knew that Evolution was more then just PvP pilots.. |
