Do you pronounce it GEE-tah, or Jeh-ta? I use the former, while I've noticed most people on comms that hail from Europe and surrounding areas tend to pronounce it in the latter format. Deffinitly Jita. On the EE thing ... everyone mispronounces my name too ... they seem to think it should sound 'Leejah' ... if it was meant to sound like leejah, I would have typed Leejah . lol. Nakk-Far is incredibly eye opening, thanks!
And I'm not good at Norse stuff, but wouldn't Nugoelhuvi end up blending a lot of that and end up similar to Nohlg-Vi? |

To a certain extent, you are right. But that is when a person from Iceland does a western or greek word. I woul not ask them for that pronunciation.
But Svipul, Nagalfar, them I will ask someone whose native tongue is related to or rooted with the same linguistics.

Whilst we're on this topic, mind enlightening me as to how to pronounce the Gallente logi ships? I think that I can get the T2 one reasonably correct, but I seem to invariably pronounce the Exequror as either "Ex-checker" (when not drinking) or "Egg-checker" after a middie or two. |

Sounds like you're trying to say "Exchequer"
Exequror would be pronounced 'EXEcuror'. 'exec' like in executive, and it rhymes with juror.

Nugoeihuvi (uhhhhh. NOH. That's it. )
It's actually a composite of three words: Nug - Play Oei - Relax Huvi - Enjoy Once you break it down it's much easier to pronounce! [nugg][oay][huuvee]
Considering a lot of the Caldari names sound like Japanese or Finnish taking that perspective makes this really easy.
Nu - go - ei - hu - vi
Nothing is silent, every letter is voiced.
PS. 'Huvi' is an actual Finnish word, in English it is 'entertainment', 'pleasure', 'fun'.
