So here is my overly wordy spiel. I pretty much stopped playing last December before finally deciding to unsub a few months ago. I was just bored with it. It wasn't like I wasn't being active, my last six months of activity I was averaging almost 150 kills a month. It just wasn't all that interesting. I tried changing coalitions, tried the wormhole thing, very briefly tried low sec. I moved around a lot, a lot more than I wanted to. In the end I just didn't find anything that made me want to log in so I stopped.
Now with the changes to sov the long established nullsec meta is changing and Fozziesov hasn't even happened yet. New partnerships are being formed, venerable groups are collapsing and the game is being turned upside down. While I think a lot of bittervets are unhappy with the changes and what they mean to their personal fiefdoms, for players like me this is an exciting time, enough so for me to resub and get back into the fight.
I am interested in moving to a corp/alliance that is an actual PvP organization. That means an organization that is in the game for PvP, not where PvP is an unintended and largely unwanted requirement. I am pretty open to where I go, for the first time in a long time I am not affiliated so I can go back to a place where I have been in the past, I can try something new, whatever. The right atmosphere and attitude is more important now than being on the "right side" of the meta.
What I Offer
- Players since '09. Many years of experience in Eve, mostly engaged in null PvP. - Over 73 million skillpoints, mostly in PvP skills. - Extensive familiarity with null-sec mechanics - Can fly carriers and dreads - Can fly all four T3 cruisers, black ops, Guardian, DIC/HIC, recons, etc. - Not only can I fly all of the above I also know how to fit them without generating (unintentional) hilarious killmails. - The next couple of decent fights I get into will push me over 7000 kills on eve-kill (http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_id=475124 ) - Isk self-sufficient and not afraid to lose ships, with or without SRP - I have the obligatory working headset and mic although I don't spend lots of time chatting when not in a fleet because I have a family. If something is going on you can be sure I will be online if available. - No delusions of grandeur. I have no issues taking direction and keeping my mouth shut but I also have some experience in leading small roams. I want to be an active part of the organization, not just cannon fodder.
What I am looking for/not looking for
- PvP. If you are an indy corp that occasionally runs a roam that is not of interest to me, - Really looking to be based in null-sec. Not really interested in wormholes or hi-sec "PvP". - No drama, internet chest-beating, lunatics, pompous morons or power trips. I play this game to have fun, not to be berated by a teenager or man-child. - Not interested in jumping through hoops to join. My API is available for the asking and my record speaks for itself. If you want a 10 page essay where I beg to join your awesome corp, look elsewhere. - Activity. If I am the only person in corp when I am online and the alliance is asleep I might as well be in an NPC corp running missions in hi-sec. - Mostly US TZ but because of the nature of my work my play time varies so it would be nice to have the opportunity to get some content on a Tuesday morning in America as well as Saturday night. - Did I mention PvP?
There you have it. I am looking to do something fairly quickly so don't dawdle. Please don't randomly convo me, I often log in and walk away (hopefully while docked). Leave a reply to this thread or send me mail in-game and we will see where it leads. |
