Today we had a session with the CSM where they played around with the ghostfitting for the first time. We got some great feedback from them and some of it has even been acted on already

DPS graphs! The charting is the killer feature of the fitting tools imo.
Even just being able to see roughly how much damage a weapon will apply to ${sig_radius} travelling at ${transversal} with ${resists} would be sweet.

Wanted to add nanite paste to my cargo hold but had to fit an ancilary armor rep to get the option and then remove it again from the fit. Nanite paste can be used for more then the ancilary rep so it should kinda always be an option in the charges tab. Only thing I found to be confusing otherwise really awesome work. |

Please add a toggle for showing the warp animations on ships.
Bastion, Industrial Core, T3 destroyer mode changes and any other animations would also be cool to see in the fitting window without having to actually undock to see them in action.

I've been paying less attention the last two months but I will say THANK YOU for responding to the thread at last and it is a relief to know that something is still in the works. Ghost fitting will probably be a great asset to new players even moreso than it will be for old players. It is probably my most anticipated feature TBH! |

First time testing but I was so blow away by the power the Ghost Fitting feature that I had to see and give feedback. Any chance the tool will also take into account the ships traits ? I have a Stealth Bomber fit with high negatives of both CPU and Grid.. But the rest of it pure genius !! |

Like the the Manticore has 99.7% Torpedo launcher powergrid reduction, so you should be able to fit them without going over in power. Could you please give some more ecamples?
Also, it would be great if we could keep the feedback in the other thread

I would like the item browser to have the same hierarchical structure as the market browser that has already been instinctive to user. Using the same UI as the market browser to locate an item for fitting is more convenient to user. |

Not sure if this have been mentioned
1) The Cycle through OFF-ON-Active-Over Heated- and back again seems long, maybe have a shift click option to go back a step.
2) In the Drones list can we have it reflect the list from out in space as it would make it quicker to select groups of drones that we that users have already saved in their profiles.
3) Stacking info , for passive modules can this be shown some how.
4) If "Per second" is going to be the new base line of modules, may want o reflect this with the details tool tip pop up.
5) Under offense drop down can we please see the grouped values of the High slots modules, because its a pain to have drop in a tracking enhancer and not see the changes with out have to mouse over the guns.
6) also as MR JONNY PEW said let us resize the window, will help us see all the stats. we are all here for the bigger picture,(PUN)
7) Can you have the option to switch the ship browser list to match the same classification like in the ship tree

Having more than one ghost fit window running simultaneously for comparing combination of different setups and different ships would be very useful. Example: Comparing Hawk version 1 vs Hawk version 2 vs Worm vs Merlin to use for a certain situation. |

Just tested this on SISI, I am positively suprised.
I CBA to read whole thread, so if this has been said already I apologize.
Please make the search field universally search EVERYTHING. So when I type something, it will return results from Hulls, Modules and Charges. This would make fitting lot faster for people who know the hull, module and charge names, current version forces needless clicks between different categories.

To be frank its not just super useful its fundemental to how the game works.
You choose a ship and modules based on their capabilities for the role you want them to play and you choose a training plan (which could take 3 months+ to finish) so you can use that ship/modules to a reasonable level.
Without a way to see what the ship/modules are capable of doing, there is no way to judge whether the ship and your training plan will be useful for the task. So it defeats the entire purpose of ghost fitting for ships/modules we cant yet use or use well.
Its going to be vital for alphas to know that they are training for something that once they have the skill will actually
- tank that mission - beat x type of ships in a dogfight etc
