Sov in impass is transferred from NA. to new sub renter alliance : http://evemaps.dotlan.net/alliance/Uncharted_Space Just to make new TZ mechanic more manageable for current renter holdings.
CCP is also making their initial sov changes much easier to manage , eg. by reducing size of the ihub and upgrades. Why this is so important? Currently ihub ( and most important upgrades ) can be hauled only by a freighter - so it require big logistic effort to replace the lost ones.
With the reduced size you can pack up multiple ihubs to 1 , yes ONE jump freighter - allowing you to maintain much space than you can actually use. ( We lost 3 ihubs in region A , no problem, just pack up jump freighter and we will move new ones from station 3 regions away).
Do you think that this change and others that CCP is planing , make the upcoming sov changes easy to manage by renter empires? We need to remember that any players wanting to contest renter empire like NA. will not only need to fight current owners , but also need keep up in terms of ship supply. So it will be :
Bunch of new guys VS I have trillion isk per month income and much bigger wallet.

You fail to understand... much of anything what with all that thinly concealed whine.
Being able to compete with the T/month wallets doesn't mean making it so that any Joe Corp can go toe to toe with them. The current revamp of null that we're seeing is all about restricting the ability to project power, and thus reduce the amount of space that can reasonably be held by X number of players. The biggest coalition with the fattest wallet is still going to control the most place, it's just that that will now be something like 10% of null instead of what was previously becoming 100% of null.
Joe Corp isn't going to be able to touch any part of that 10%. But unlike before, there'll still be 90% of null filled with now-smaller entities, and they might be able to take a tiny piece of that. And maybe grow. And take a little more. And grow some more. And one day, when Joe Corp has become Joe Mega Coalition, that previously untouchable 10% can now be contested. It's all about creating breathing room for new powers to develop, room that was pretty much non-existent before.
I think there's a possibility that this breathing room could result in the game becoming more attractive, and maybe with more players the top entities will grow enough to once again be able to control 100% of null. But then CCP will have 10x the revenue, and other options for expansion then appear. |

Actually it is simple. 2 groups clash.
They compete over a system. Group A have enough isk to replace 10 ihubs , and minimal income. Group B have enough isk to replace 500 ihubs, and immense income.
Both groups start to exchange ihubs - point me one that will run out ability to do it first.
If we include current size of the ihub and upgrades you are adding factor of heavy logistics needed - when real space of group B is 3 regions away - the need of moving new ihub can be limiting factor.
When CCP decided to reduce the size of the ihub so you can fit multiple on a single jump freighter - this factor is gone.

Because CFC and N3 now would have a serious problems with replacing these 500 iHubs by freighters, really.

Yes, if you want to live in 1 constellation where you have renters now - you can just focus on destroying infrastructure connected to renters. Without ihub there is no renters. When someone needs to move freighters 10 time in a month to replace same ihub this is effort. You need titans to bridge freighter or enough people to escort it by gates.
So you have multiple places that you can kill this freighter.
After changes all what you need is bunch of ihubs moved to nearest station , and then T2 transport ship that will move and deploy new ihub.
Yes this simplify stuff for all the people , but at the same time removes tons of "effort" needed in maintaining big sov holdings.
I think CCP should keep current Ihub size , while at the same time reducing upgrade size , just to ease in replacing this stuff when the ihub dies.
When i live in some space then there is no problem to replace ihub from local resources, so again this will promote local population.
