ISK Salesmanàà.
Well, to be perfectly honest, I have not been playing this game long. Just long enough for my Rookie Chat to finally go away. So, please bare with my rather n00bish approach to this topic.
Some of the Effects I have noticed concerning this topic-
-Trying to start out in this game is doubly hard, and only increasing in difficulty as time passes. [how can I put this politely] The <insert colorful remark here> macro miners are mining everything in areas where people have to start! (1.0-5.0 space).
-Trying to mine effectively (using a can) cannot be accomplish [at least by me] to any degree. The macro miners Haulers (non of which seem to speak English) will take YOUR can right along with the rest of the MacroerÆs cans. So unless you have like a Battleship or Cruiser that your mining with you cannot adequately defend your cans (and if you do so without, they show up with three cruisers or a few battleships and chase you off or kill you). Some other Effects- -To the Macro miner and all his minions this is NOT A GAME, but a JOB, or a Business. This game is not being used for Entertainment purposes like the vast majority of us are trying to use this game as. How can you compete with that using this game for Entertainment purpose only? You cannot.
-The game has, and is being taken over by ISK salesman, and therefore its not a game anymore but a Business. A business for the ISK salesman who I would image are not going to let players get in the way of them making REAL money.
I read up above that someone had said they are not in 0.4-0.0 Space. Its only a matter of time actually before they push you out of those sectors too. If you donÆt think the Macro miners are coming into 0.4-0.0 space sometime soon your delusional.
Conflict- There is an actual war going on in this gameà Too bad only the Macro miners are fighting it.
CPP seems to ignore the fact that there is a macro miner in just above ever sector of 0.8-0.5 space. They are not hard to spot actually. There are so many in some sectors they will actually BUMB YOU out of the way (instead of the other way around). Thought I read somewhere it was a violation to use a macro, but I could be wrong. : p
Honestly, I donÆt care if some Yahoo in China wants to sell ISK. I do know IÆm not giving anyone in China my credit card number.
I do mind the chat being full of advertisements, only because its annoying. I do mind getting email after email asking me to buy ISK.
I think what I mind the most though is having to try to compete with a select group of individuals who are actually in a business partnership trying to make money and killing, pushing, and chasing, and people out of the way in the process of the business they are trying to run in the game.
Like I said above, sorry, please bear with my n00bish approach, but this is what I see and how I am seeing it in the game.
I only wish CCP would have taken a more active roll in preventing this kind of thing. I am not a quitter though. However, if it gets much worse IÆm probably going to have to find something else. I already have a job I donÆt need another one in EVE competing vs. ISK Salesman.
