Yes, so long as that "small php script" also implements a 3d renderer to create the screenshot in the first place, and is then fast enough to do it for the millions of characters that have been created over the years.

Whilst it's sometimes funny to surprise people who think you're a 2-day noob by coming at them in a Megathron, the joke's worn thin. I get the feeling that people who created Bloodlines characters, at least at the time of it's release, have been skipped over for some bizarre internal server reason. I've seen much much newer characters fromt he bloodlines get their portraits within a week or 2!

We as customers shouldn't be adapting to them, they should adapt to us so to speak.
I pay to play this game, and the forums are definately a part of this game.
If something doesn't work, I'm allowed to complain about it not working :)

WTF has the "WebCell" been doing since t20 left? We were told more people were hired. The official EVE website has been in an atrocious state for months: having to login several time to post, user submitted acreenshot section not working, no updates for the alliance section, etc.
By the way, is the added "search" "functionality" the work of this new "WebCell"?

Heh. I swapped my portrait about 6 months ago and the new one came up within a couple of weeks 
*runs and hides from the angry mobs*
But seriously, although the lack of portraits doesn't affect me in the slightest, I really do think that the portraits should be brought into the forums.
And Wrangler and Sharkbait, what happenned to that prodding and investigating you guys were going to do?

You can fix 95% of that particular problem by deleting all myeve.eve-online.com cookies - in FF you do this by going into "Options" -> "Privacy" -> "Show Cookies", then scroll down to myeve.eve-online.com, select it and click the "Remove Cookie" button.
Remember to reset your default char after or you'll end up posting with alts :)
