Rhea is nearly upon us, any news one when the SDE will be released? My app relies on SDE data to function, perhaps this is a design flaw now?
Phoebe SDE was released 10/31 (expansion 11/4)

+1 Would be nice to have the SDE data of the new systems. Technically our mapper can handle unknown systems just fine, but it would be a PITA to add the regions, constellations, classes, etc. of all those systems manually to the database. (I'm lazy :-P) |

Ok, I managed to fetch the new systems via Sisi's Public-CREST: SQL export The endpoint seems really unfinished and is missing some data (e.g. x,y,z of regions), but those should be all new systems.
The interesting part is that there are only two new regions: one containing Thera and one containing 25 other systems. The other 75 systems are in new constellations but in regions that already existed in the Phoebe SDE.

dgmExpressions.
It's not going to be an easy table to use, but it's one that's been asked for, for a fair time.
One more nail in the coffin of 'we need to cache scrape'
It's one I'm exceptionally happy to see.

Finally, can someone link me or explain what the new table and field is? I must have missed it.

Bowhead build requirement reprocessing output is wrong in the Rhea data dump, it's still showing like a freighter, when it was changed on Sisi some days ago.
Data dump:
17 x Capital Propulsion Engine 16 x Capital Armor Plates 89 x Capital Cargo Bay 56 x Capital Construction Parts
Reality:
12 xCapital Armor Plates 8 x Capital Cargo Bay 49 xCapital Construction Parts 10 xCapital Propulsion Engine 10 xCapital Shield Emitter 52 xCapital Ship Maintenance Bay
edit: the blueprint's right, it's reprocessing the Bowhead that's wrong

I don't think those are exported in the SDE. From what I understand they are actually hidden beacons that are spawned in the system, so unless we exported the contents of the system they wouldn't be included. :(

Neither do I, and I work on pyfa! lol
It'd be great if documentation was available for it somewhere. Basically, though, it expresses the relationship of a modifier towards it's target using attributes from both.
For example, and I'm by no means an expert, Co-Possessor has an effect called "cpuMultiplierPostMulCpuOutputShip". This effect is shown in the dgmEffects table that it is assigned the pre and post expression of 2843 and 2844, respectively.
The pre expression (2843) is in the dgmExpressions table, and it basically has attributes that declare the source attribute (CPU multiplier value of Co-Processor) and the target attribute (CPU Output of the current ship), along with an operand to use on the equation and the expression name (usually something like ((CurrentShip->cpuOutput).(PostMul)).RemoveItemModifier (cpuMultiplier).
Every item has various effects. Each effect has a set of pre and post expressions defining how that item interacts with it's target.
Also, thanks FoxFour for getting that table included in the SDE! |

Here's a way of translating modifierInfo into actual dogma expressions: https://github.com/Artefact2/libdogma/blob/master/tools/bootstrap_from_json#L356
TL;DR:
For ItemModifiers: (($domain->$modifiedAttributeID).($operator)).AIM($modifyingAttributeID) (($domain->$modifiedAttributeID).($operator)).RIM($modifyingAttributeID)
For LocationRequiredSkillModifiers: (($domain[$skillTypeID]->$modifiedAttributeID).($operator)).ALRSM($modifyingAttributeID) (($domain[$skillTypeID]->$modifiedAttributeID).($operator)).RLRSM($modifyingAttributeID)
It would be nice to get mappings between operators in modifierInfo and actual dogma associations. So far 5 seems to be PostDiv.
It would be also very nice to get a way to find all the "modes" a ship hull has without having to hardcode it.

That'd be a sideeffect of bzip2 *
Just as a tip:
bunzip2 -c postgres-rhea-1.109013.sql.bz2 | pg_restore > postgres-rhea-1.109013.txtdmp.sql
if you don't want that pesky intermediate file ;)

Any word on getting the issues fixed as noted above? Or did they get added already and I missed it?

Sorry, been pretty busy. Can you summarize all the issues into one post?

I thought the new systems would have Shattered planets. In fact the mapDenormalize table doesn't included anything for the 2 new regions 11000031 and 11000032

I am using SDEExternalsToSql Tool. Maybe your table is not updated? hmmmm Well I used Fuzzys mysql conversation.

Thanks for the per-table MySQL dumps, Daimian. It made updating the map a piece of cake. |

Yes, send your praise to Steve Ronuken. He is the great help behind all those SDE conversions and such.
Thanks Steve for the hard work you do so quickly!

Can you summarize all the issues into one post? 1 - The data in the ramAssemblyLineTypeDetailPerCategory has been messed up for the past two SDEs.
The table is still missing data for Category 9 - Blueprints and activity IDs for 3, 4, or 5 which is ME/TE research and copying. Furthermore, the categories for invention don't make any sense with the other data. Basically, this table lists the categories of items that are produced at this facility type when conducting the listed activity. For example, you can't make a ship through invention at a design laboratory but you can make a blueprint - the data in the SDE has ship for categories of invention. The data for the experimental lab is correct however.
The category table needs to be fixed for the Research Laboratory (add activities 3 and 4), the Design Lab (delete all current lines and replace with activity 5 and category 9; and activity 8 and category 9), and the Hyasoda Research Lab should be fixed as well (add activities 3 and 4).
For now I'm just copying the old oceanus table over, which works but is a pain to do each time we have a new SDE.
2 - The data in the ramAssemblyLineTypeDetailPerGroup might be incorrect or the description might be incorrect in game.
select * FROM ramAssemblyLineTypeDetailPerGroup WHERE assemblyLineTypeID = 10 AND groupID IN (485, 513, 547, 883)
Supercapital ship assembly arrays don't give a time or me bonus for any ships according to the description but the data shows 25% reduction in TE for capital ships built in a supercapital ship assembly array. Is this data correct?

Looks like the blueprint yaml file is missing data for the small wrecked hull section to make the t3 destroyer. The other two are fine.
