Me and my friend are mission running,we are on l2 missions, i'm using an algos with t2 fit and my friend is in catast with a t1 fit (i am gonna get him a better fit i guess) we will be flying vexor navy issue in the next 2 days. the fit is like this ;
Reactive Armor Hardener Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Medium 'Accommodation' Vestment Reconstructer I
Experimental 100MN Afterburner I Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II
250mm Prototype Gauss Gun Drone Link Augmentor I
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Infiltrator II x5 Warrior II x5 Imperial Navy Praetor x5
-¦ guess it will be more than enough, Are there any suggestions like "you should change that after burner to *suggestion*"

You probably need more tank than that, especially with low skills. Drop the reactive and one of the damage amps and fit two mission-specific hardeners.
100mn AB is battleship sized. I'm surprised it can even fit onto a vexor without sever gimp of rest of fit. |

No, you probably want a *smaller* afterburner. 100MN is battleship sized. Yes, there are fits which use them on cruisers, they're far from the norm.
Get familiar with the L3 missions in a more standard fit (shield/armour tank, not sig/speed), less chance of something going wrong and you going boom. Already suggested a change Drop the reactive and one of the damage amps and fit two mission-specific hardeners. |

Also,i guess i will have to get a far greater afterburner ? Yeah the 100mn thing is going to be difficult for you to make work at your age , it will likely cap you out in a couple of cycles and take one to many compramises to fit.
For l3 I would drop it for a 10mn ad or mwd and go with the standard 2 mission specific hardeners a med repper and maby a damage control.
If you're going to low sec then you will want to go PvP fit and there you can make the 100mn work as you can use it to burn through webs and/or gtfo. I'll have a Look and see if I can find you a decent PvP fit with it.

Hammerhead II x5 Valkyrie II x5 Hobgoblin II x5
NOTES: - the CPU was a "tight," even with high skills... so I added a CPU rig to the fit. As your skills improve, you can ditch it in favor of something else.
- NPCs hate drones and you are relying on non-sentries to deal damage. Hence, the drone durability rig.
- You should not be letting your drones get too far away from you anyways. If the NPCs turn their attention to them you want to be able to pull them in ASAP.
- You only need drones for two damage profiles; Minmatar drones (red background) for Angel NPCs (because they are weak against explosive damage) and Gallente drones (green background) for everything else (thermal damage is listed as either the primary or secondary weakness for pretty much all NPCs except Angels)
- The cap booster will serve all your capacitor needs if you don't constantly run all your mods (specifically the armor repper). Only use it when you are low on capacitor power (below ~1/3 capacity)
- Part of your tank is staying at range and being mobile. If you are taking too much damage, you do not have enough range and/or are not moving fast enough. This means that taking out webbing frigates in a mission will be your top priority.
- Your railguns are there for supplementary damage. Drones are your primary weapon.

When you start on you first lvl 3's I would recommend a myrm not Vexor, first of all a myrm can be happily triple repped if necessary or fit to have so much EHP that it bleeds from your eye balls compared to Vexor.
Also I would recommend doing your first lvl 3's in high sec, unless you know your way around low sec.
a myrm can also be fit with a MJD so although it might be slower it's not as big an issue as it used to be. |

You can do level 3 missions in an Assault Frigate, but otherwise the general advice is a battlecruiser.
None of these are "written in stone" rules, rather general advice:
Level 1: Frigate / Destroyer Level 2: Cruiser (fit for killing mostly frigates) Level 3: Batlecruiser Level 4: Battleship |

Uhm good luck
Rats switch target now, so even if your friend is tanky, you will likely die if aggro switches to you.
General rule of thought with missions:
Level 1 - Frigates and Destroyers Level 2 - Destroyers and Cruisers Level 3 - Cruisers and BC Level 4 - BC and BS / T3
Of course, thinking outside the box is possible (like using an AF for L3 missions).
And as said, downgrade to a 10MN.
In PvE, I can't think of any situation where you want an oversized prop-mod on a ship...
PvP however, there is some nice fits with oversizing.
The last statement though (better AB which is already oversized) makes me consider that you are not serious at all. But, in nature of NCQA, I will give you the benefit of the doubt....for now.

Definitely go the Meta versions of the mods when you can. The fit I provided above is merely a template to follow. Tinker with it as you see fit.
As for the turret slots... the Vexor has 4 turret slots. The Vexor Navy Issue has only 2 turret slots but greater ability to field drones.
Which are you flying? Because it WILL make a difference in how it is fit.

Kidding aside... the Vexor is a beastly Tech 1 cruiser... especially when it comes to brawling. You just have to get used to moderate micromanagement of drones. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been nerfed yet.

My experience on the Gallente ship progression was that the Myrm had a more forgiving tank at low skills for the more difficult Level 3 tank-test missions such as Blockade compared to the Vexor. I've never flown the Vexor NI, but just eyeballing the basic stats, the Myrm gives you much better tank, and probably a little better supplementary DPS against Level 3 NPCs if you fit rails or artillery.
It seems to me that the killer feature of the Vexor NI is the bandwidth for five heavies or sentries, which require a fairly high skill investment to beat T2 mediums and probably won't be effective in cruiser-dominated Level 3s.

I had some extra cash so i was able to fit and buy nav issue but i guess i will use normal vexor for some time and get used to it. -¦ will be making some money with the current version then getting and fitting the vexor.
