My apologies, I've been having forum problems and this is the third time I've tried to post....the topic got "lost" on the way.
As yet I feel no need to petition as I haven't been attacked (yet), and I don't like bothering GMs unless absolutely necessary.
I posted in the main to find out if anyone else has been having the same messages.

I suggest reporting it as a bug then. Be sure to include that screen shot.
The patch may have broke the game, but at least you people made it in game!!!11one

This is NOT a bug. this is expected.
Please note that the message is directed to teh character "JOYS 1", not to you.
Those criminal messages are visible to anyone within visual range, just as the "engaged in criminal acts" message is.
