For a week now I have pushed my L3 X-Sense Agent missions for her. She is either extreamly stingy or just a plain Biotch. at mission 294 she has not droped any implants since the patch. I have Charisma 13 and Social L4. I had hopes to transfer out to another L3 agent but she has given no referals. No failures and no refusals on any mission. Has anyone had any better luck then myself? I am planning on pulling the plug on this winch come mission 300 and cal it a bust.

I think you should stick with her, it'll give you a huge advantage later on...

Mine is exactly the same. I see it more as an investment in the hope that a future patch brings Jove agents something worthwhile.

You do know that currently Jove agents do not give out any implants? Or at least noone has reliably reported receiving anything from them.

Well then he's a liar - no rewards are corporation based, only faction.

Edited by: Zyrla Bladestorm on 13/10/2003 03:35:32 /shrug he heard it from someone else I believe (though he trusts the source) .. he hasnt done it himself ... its not exactly impossible ccp has a bug though surely ? (though the mission department seems a lot better in that regard .. mostly) . ----- Apologys for any rambling that may have just occurred.

So, you heard from a friend, who heard from a friend, that ccp might have a bug ....

Edited by: Stue on 13/10/2003 04:56:41 Thats just how CCP forgets some players who follow another way in order to get rewarded one day, but they arent.
It same with CONCORD. When i look back to these 100 missions i did for my 3 lvl3 agents i must say that it has damaged me more than helped. Agents increase corporation and faction standing when accomplishing missions. But they also DROP your standings when you fail missions.
I had 8.4 security status, which is corp standing for CONCORD. I never GAINED more (as 6.0 is the max for LVl3 agents) i only LOST sec status due to 3 intentionally failed missions. I lost around 0.2 sec status to it. How many average hi-lvl pirates killing is that around? About 1000.
I never got an implant. I have no prospect for a blueprint at mission ~300. I am a stupid non-race faction agent's *****. And by "am" i mean "was".

Just to let you know, 300 is not some verified magic number, as other posters have pointed out, your charisma, and agent stats can push this number well off that.
Good luck in whatever you chose though.

All of this only applies until the next patch. Zrakor's post from yesterday confirms they are still currently making changes and additions to this system in preparation for the next patch.
I expect to see more BPs and other unique rewards going in over the next weeks and especially with the next patch - then all those "unrewarding" missions you did will pay off big time because you will immediately start receiving whatever gifts they decide to slide your way.
Don't be discouraged yet!

I wouldn't count on those hundreds of missions completed under the current patch to help u in the future. Most likely it's just gonna be like when the agent standing bug was in "too bad, but that was YESTERDAY, we can't help u"
So much for loosing my +9 standing to most of the empires for the revard of a few isk from a lvl1 agent. And yes I'm stuck with a concord lvl3 agent atm

Why not? They did in the last two patches.
People with high standings with their Level 3 agents immediately started receiving implants, and when BPs were added people who already had 100+ missions under their belt were the first to receive the blueprints.
No reason not to think new additions to Agents will be available first to those who prepare ahead of time.
By the way, feel free not to believe me and not do any Agent missions for anyone other than Minmatar - when the new BPs come in the fewer people ready to get them the better.

Sorry but all those complaints about having done 300 missions and not getting any BPs just makes me laugh, this is not only in this threat but in almost 90% of the other mission threats. Did u ever think about even as a totally unfair galaxy??? the agents won't put BPs up ur A**e* just because u did some missions for them, perhaps the corp doesn't have any anymore or the CEO of the corp just laughs at you because u expect to get something but u never will. So just keep on trying, perhaps you eventually belong to the lucky 50 or maybe 100 ppl who've gotten a BP. But I wouldn't rely on it, because BPs are the most powerful items in eve, and CCP learned from the Techlvl 1 BP copy crap

Actually V thats incorrect (im fairly certain).
Before a certain date no prior missions count at all towards the BP mission etc.
With the way standings are to work (judging by chaos) then gathering multiple agents within a corp is totally wasted.. a corp standing of 4 will mean you get access to every level 2 and under in that corp automatically.
It is an assuption that current corp standings will remain... and whilst that may be so mission counts per agent is an entirely seperate issue (as its ruled by agent standing afaict).
Would i sit my Level minmatar Agent at 266 missions knowing that 267 will get me a BP now.. incase next week i get a different BP?
No way in hell.
I [b]hope/b] they find a way so that those with lots of work in missions and agents come out on top - they deserve too - but i suspect that doing so will not always be possible.

So far I got 2 lvl 3 Gallente, 2 lvl 3 CONCORD and I'm aiming for Jove next.
Why?
Long term, doing roughly 100+ missions in advance for a lvl3 should give you a lvl4 referal quite soon as soon as they are ingame. Unless those successed mission gow below the magic date line.
Getting lucky to get a bribable lvl4 CONCORD gets your faction standings right where you whant em.
Later on it's supposed to be possible to become Jovian, and thats through agents, yes please.
I don't feel like I'm waisting any effort here, speciall when I do some trading while doing missions.
Fail, my heart, my love, my Falcon, where art thou?
