I know all ppl says concord corporation is displayed under faction as Concord Assembly, but as I have pointed out several times, if u have Concord agents, then u will have a slider for both corp and faction, and at least for me, my corporation standing is way higher than my faction standing. And the "agent's faction" @ decent does correspond to Concord Assembly.
So when do we get an option to see our corporation in the UI ?
Btw do anyone have a compiled list of what the words corresponds to. it's not like it's very intuitive with decent being better than fine.

Concord faction is what's shown as Concord assembley under faction standings.
Concord corp standing is your sec status.
Or rather, your general sec status is your corp standing with concord.

Concord faction standings are shown on the factions tab as Concord Assembly.
There are at least three corporations in the Concord factio. They are Concord, DED, and Inner Circle. You standings with them, if any, will show up on the corporation tab. You only get corporation standings by performing missions for the corp, or raiding it's convoys.
Concord security status is independent of faction or corporate standings. Anything you do to lower your standings is likely to lower your Concord faction rating, though. Your 150mm Railgun II perfectly strikes Serpentis Drug Baron, wrecking for 192.8 damage. |

Wrong, so very wrong. CONCORD is the exception to the usual rules with faction and corp standings. I consider myself qualified to talk about this, since I've clocked up quite a number of missions with CONCORD while clawing my way up to a level 3 agent.
Completing missions for CONCORD raises your security rating, your Concord Assembly faction standing, and your Agent's personal standing. Your security rating boosts get capped in exactly the same way that corporation standings do with other corporations.
Failing missions for CONCORD results in the same penalties as normal for other corporations, except that your security status takes a hit in the place where your corp standing would have normally taken a hit. Note that this security drop does NOT result in Concord/sentry guns opening fire on you when you undock.
No number of completed missions results in a Corporation Standing for Concord appear in your Corporations list.
In essence, your security rating is the direct stand-in for corporation standing with Concord.

Thats not true - i have an entry for DED in my corp list & Concord Assembly in my faction list.
I'm only at lvl1/17 missions but when i do missions for DED the corp figure and the faction figure goes up in the same way as every other corp i work for but my sec. status doesn't change.
However I have done a couple of missions for an amarr faction agent that were 'for CONCORD' delivering documents to court and my sec. status was raised for them so i assumed a concord corp is just more likely to have missions that change your sec. status.

Edited by: Valerie Crowe on 08/10/2003 09:28:29 Edited by: Valerie Crowe on 08/10/2003 09:27:37 There are 4 corporations which belong to the CONCORD Assembly faction:
- Concord - DED - Inner Circle - Secure Commerce Commision
Doing missions for all corporations affects you Concord Assembly faction standings, but you get corporation standings (in the list) for only for 3 of them:
- DED - Inner Circle - Secure Commerce Commision
The the corporation standing to the fourth corporation (Concord) is your security rating!
Hope it is clear now

No, you're wrong.
If you do a mission that your agent tells you is for Concord, you will get a sec status increase. This is a special mission. It is not neccessarily a mission for a Concord corporation. It is a mission for whatever corp employs the agent.
I have just gotten 2 lvl 1 agents with DED, a Concord corporation. I have done a total of seven missions for them. My sec status has not risen noticeably, it's still displaying as an anemic .2 on my character sheet. I have gained a .5 standing with DED. My faction ratings for all empires have risen just less than .01 per mission. For some reason, my Concord faction rating has only risen by .01, which I am hoping is a display bug that will be corrected next time I log. U keep confusing DED with the true Concord.
It's only Concord agent's, ie. agents from concord corp itself that gives u sec status increase.
And yes i have agents both with Concord and DED, and bribing and doing missions for my lvl 3 Concord agent did give me a slight boost in sec status. Slight since i was allready a 5.9 from killing rats. But i leveled out quite nice at 6.00000 when i did a few missions for him
Thx to Darkwolf for ansvering my other great question, about wether Concord would get all roudy with me for failing a mission for one of their agents.

as stated already Concord assembly = faction (umbrella organization) = faction status DED = Corp (pencilpushers) CONCORD = Corp (navy) = sec status . ----- Apologys for any rambling that may have just occurred.

You people all need to learn to read more carefully. When I say I work for CONCORD corporation, I mean CONCORD - not DED, not Innercircle but the CONCORD.
When you do work for them, your Security Status will go up every mission you complete successfully.
This is because, as stated before, the CONCORD's "Corporation Standing" simply is your Security Status.
Can we put this issue to rest once and for all? Or at least until they patch Agents and this all changes?
