Our peaceful corporation, which seeks nothing more than to mine and adventure in peace in the Federation, and take under our wing the new capsuleers of the galaxy from ALL races and mold them into a constructive force, finds itself under attack from the supposed Khanid 'loyalists' of Relinquished. Their most thinly veiled of excuses for what amounts to little more than the murder of frigate and industrial pilots is that we, by association with the Federation, are somehow 'enemies' of the Kingdom. I won't mention the obvious hypocrisy inherent in the fact that the briefest of database searches will reveal that Relinquished has twice the history of employment with the Federation that they do with the Khanid (a fact offset by their CEO, Shylan, coming from a rich Khanid heritage among the... oh, nevermind). No, that would insult the intelligence of an audience that knows without my bringing it up that this is nothing more than a pitiful attempt to boost their standing among their murderous ilk by posting shuttle and frigate kills among their 'friends.'
That they consider this a fruitful use of their time is laughable. That they claim to be fighting Khanid's enemies (oh, yes, of course everyone has heard of the fearsome Red Eclipse, the only thing that stands between Khanid and its goals...) in doing so is ridiculous. That CONCORD sees fit to accept their bribes and turn a blind eye is troubling.
What is more, apparently our mighty fleet, which even contains the occasional CRUISER, was too much for the multi-year veterans, and they found it necessary to bring their bosom friends, Mordu's Elite (who at least have a history of ill will with the federation to excuse them, although I doubt that they have had cause to notice our pilots in the past) to assist them. It clearly wouldn't be safe to engage our pilots, many with two entire months of experience, in battle without the advantage of numbers.
People of the Federation, this is at best idiotic and at worst the prelude to further troubles with these cowardly scum. Surely there are Gallente out there who will take a stand against such aggression and empire-space piracy; please contact me by mail if you can render any assistance.
As for those who have the misfortune to call themselves the allies and cohorts of this sad excuse for a terrorist outfit, I must suggest that you rein them in. It does not reflect well on the Khanid Kingdom (with whom I have no standing quarrel) if these are to be the 'front lines' of her struggle. You cannot have chosen our small corporation of young pilots to put up any sort of fight, although we will be forced to defend ourselves as best we can. The only thing you'll achieve by your unwarranted attacks on Red Eclipse innocents is shame.

Actually, and of course I can only speak for my corporation here, the fact that you are Federation supporters had very little to do with it, hate them though we may. I must admit it made the decision to take this job over others very easy though

I'm not surprised to see that anyone who would consider these unwarranted attacks against a peaceful corporation to be in any way commendable is incapable of higher intellectual concepts, such as sarcasm.
Here's a bit of humour more on your level: How many corporations of experienced combat pilots does it take to pod a one-monther in a frigate? 2 apparently.
And I'm glad to see how very much you've accomplished. I assure you, the evil machinations of the Federation grind to a halt as we speak.
Isn't there something more... useful... that you could be doing?

are all Federation loyalists petulant?
by accepting the pod and making a corporation you agree to the laws by which Concord governs. join Scope or something if you wish to remain free from political entanglements.
besides if your corporation can't protect itself you certainly don't disserve to survive.

I am not going to agree with Bliss, here, no matter what it sounds like. but...
QVCatullus, what you have here, is an opportunity to learn. Stick everybody in frigates, and learn how to fight. Sure, it'll be a slaughter, at first, but you will learn, and you will be better able to fend off attackers the next time they come your way. Drop me a line, and I can point you in the right direction. The rest is up to you.
And please, ease up on the attempts to paint your attackers in a bad light. You're doing it badly, and it just makes you look whiney. You're much better off giving neutral-sounding blow-by-blows, and letting people read between the lines. You don't want to end up sounding like Bliss, after all...

While I'm not really much of a GalFed loyalist anymore, I used to be pretty partisan about it. If you think like the Amarr (you can't really quit the Amarr religion, you can only be excommunicated), you could feel that I was still a GalFed loyalist. I can't really speak for the rest of my corp, but I'm sure they'd welcome another war right now...

Unfortunately, the EVE cluster is a harsh place, filled with worthless cowards looking for easy fights, through ridiculous justifications. This is the case here, just a bunch of incompetent pod pilots, unable to take on any actual targets, looking for something to justify their pitiful, meaningless existense. ________________

I fail to see how that proves any kind of worthiness. And that's assuming you were the only one fighting them at the time, which I highly doubt was the case. ________________

Do some more research Shemar. You will see that many of the above were double and triple war decs against Mordu. You will also notice the average age of their members are far higher than the average age of the mordu members.
And if you want to talk numbers, instead of age. Red Eclipse were 183 strong on the eve of our initial war vote. 100 dissapeared by the time we activated, a further 10 or so before we got to fight. I am guessing they are restructuring. Timing looks bad on our part though.
I often wonder if you are capable of reading a thread without hi-jacking or trolling.

Edited by: Tomahawk Bliss on 01/08/2006 05:18:28 from what i have read at first:
"The Ammatars are descendants of Minmatars that collaborated with the Amarrians during the latter occupation of the Minmatar worlds."
this term came from:
"The term Ammatar was first used by the Gallenteans to distinguish between the two groups."
and now as their own people:
"Indeed, the Ammatars have very deliberately abolished many age-old traditions of the Minmatar tribal society and embraced some Amarrian ones instead."
and:
"The Ammatar domain, San Matar, is semi-autonomous. The Ammatar rulers have full domestic control"
so by that work Ammatar were collaborators during the occupation by the amarr.
the term made up by Gallente and accepted by all.
And now in the modern time it is all the minmatar who have a distinct culture on San Matar region, I.E. the Ammatar Mandate.
Being that I am neither a resident of San Matar or was a collaborator during the occupation I fail to see the connection. I mean i can see how you would interpret the term but when i actually read that to me it only has two definition. the "collaborated with the Amarrians during the latter occupation of the Minmatar worlds" and those of the San Matar region.
IÆm not saying I donÆt support Amarr, just that I donÆt think every minmatar that does is an Ammatar. Rather only those who are part of the San Matar government/culture or as in a historical context the collaborators during the occupation way back when.

Seems pretty clear from your past actions and loyalties that you are still a collaborator with the Amarrian enemies of your Brutor kinsmen Bliss. A person would have to be blind not to see you still serving the Amarri axis inside this ôIntakiö Union front movement you have going. Lets face it, if you were picking a side way during the Amarri occupation of the Minmatar worlds it wouldnÆt have been the Matari one and youÆd have taken up arms with the other collaborators and gotten exiled along with the other Amarri sympathisers loathed by their own people. Therefore youÆre plucking at straws here, just accept the categorisation of Ammatar and have done with it.

I was under the impression that PvP stood for "Pod vs. pod" a common expression for when two or more capsule pilots fight.
Anyway, I think we'd all appreciate some comment from Relinquished as to the motivations behind this war, given their somewhat splotchy history and the lack of publicity in recent days. - - -

I have already expressed the reasons behind our declaration of war against this Gallente loyalist corporation. The Gallente and Minmatar are our enemies, entering our space uninvited attacking our citizens. Whilst many members of my corporation are busy day in day out defending our region from these threats the loyalist pod pilot coporations in our community need some attention too. And thus we have started our campaign with the Red Eclipse Inc Corporation.
Yes my corporation and myself included have had a few questionable months, I am not proud of what transpired in the past but that is not the subject here. Relinquished and myself are once again dedicated to protecting the Khanid Kingdom |

It's amusing to see individuals confusing piracy as simply a racial agenda, not worthy of their attention because it doesn't affect their own people. I wonder where the outspoken blowhards such as Tsual would be today if the Federation hadn't extended it's support for the Matari people when they needed it the most.
Perhaps instead of criticizing, a less hypocritical perspective might be undertaken from their mutual beneficiaries?

Greetings Shylan,
That's a pretty bad reason for a war against this corporation. Why don't you try taking your fight to the Federation Navy?
And that's a pretty big charge to make, since Khanid are known to enter the Federation, abduct her citizens, and keep them in slavery. What exactly have you seen in Khanid space? Some skirmishes between the two navies? That doesn't really sound like the same thing, does it?

Blowhard? I may indeed be outspoken insofar as I tend to voice my mind, but I will never claim to be something greater than the simple miner I am.
Anyway if I'm not entirely wrong I think I still owe you a drink or two which I offered some months ago.

This in an official communication from The Cyrene Initiative.
Effective in 22 hours Red Eclipse will become a full member of The Cyrene Initiative. Hostilities after that time will be met in kind. Hostilities against other pro Federation corporations will also result in similar action.
Thank you for your time. -The Cyrene Initiative

You have just made Relinquished's day, now we can move against a whole alliance of Federation supporters. The cleansing of the Gallente will start here! |

To Relinguished,
Your Corp is Affiliated with Khanid. The Federation has neither threatened, nor even dealt with the Khanid Kingdom. Why is it that their para-military forces are compelled to once again leave Khanid and intrude upon Federation space? The Cyrene Initiative will defend Corporations whom peacably reside and promote the Federations ideals.
Your Corp and Ixion has had a moment of passing in combat once. You know where we stand.
But again let me state that Khanid has no dealings with the Federation, other than commerce. Whatever hostilities you feel about the Federation are yours alone. Cyrene stands ready to defend the Federations citizens.

Khanid supporters? Pathetic!
You are nothing but a snivelling worthless slave who tried to rise against his supposed 'brethren'.
While I have no love for the Khanid, I hate to see this worthless rat claim to fight for a Kingdom that at least tried to stand up to the domination of the Blood Inquisition and her allies.
Your failure in the Kingdom has been well documented by those who observe, their allies, and your former allies. You ran and hid previously and I wonder now if you'll do the same again.
We left the Kingdom after destroying all against us. If we came back, would we find you hiding again or willing to fight?
Pathetic.

Don't try and use what happened to Relinquished and myself in the past as a way to dis-credit me. I am ashamed of the actions I undertook during a very troubled period I was going through (this has been documented in my bio in game). I am working to atone for my actions but your pathetic attempt to try a gain publicity against me doesn't vex me one bit.
Let me remind you in the 2 empire wars I have been involved in against you, it was your corporation who lost not me, so I implore you to come back to Khanid and you will receive the same treatment as you did before. Another corpse of your CEO would look very nice in the Relinquished Trophy Cabinet.
In our first meetings we (as in Relinquished a member of Aegis Militia) removed your presence from the Bleak Lands, and sent you running with your tails between your legs to the Delve region. On our Second meeting after Blood Inquisition declared war againt Relinquished it was your corporation who retracted that war after we assasinated Cyshade. |

We don't need publicity against you. Your past relations with the Kingdom and your madness stand as a testament to themselves.

A shakey defence and negligible offence from Traitors to their Kingdom? Declaring war on your allies? Hiding in stations? Retreating from the frontlines and disbanding your corp?
I'm always up for seeing you perform tricks like the dog you are.

You only have one? I've at least two of Cyshades, one of Myadras, one of mine and our corpusarium has plenty of you and yours. ~~~~~

My past history with the Kingdom isn't the issue here. I wasn't in control of my mind at the time those events took place. The issue here is that of Red Eclipse Inc running and hiding behind The Cyrene Inititive. Make no mistake about it, joining this loyalist alliance will not save you from the wrath of my people. If anything you have made us more determined to destroy your loyalist corporation. An now the fate of your new alliance will be the same as yours. This isnt the first time Relinquished has met The Cyrene Inititive on the battlefield. |

I'm not quite sure you're in full control of it now, to be quite honest.

It happens to the best of us. To be honest, I think it's rather ingenious: It works for both sides.

I'm sure you used those words on myself or Myadra at some point. Maybe even Kehmor. You eventually eat those words, ya know.
Originally by: Shylan And (sic) now the fate of your new alliance will be the same as yours. This isnt the first time Relinquished has met The Cyrene Inititive on the battlefield.
And I'm sure it won't be their last. They've faced bigger annoyances than yourselves before.
