Putting aside complexes from 1-6 rating lets look at the 7-10. I personally can do nearly all lvl 4 missions solo apart from enemys abound 1-5 which i have recently placed a post about but im interested to no what to expect in the high level complexe's. For example if i can do worlds collide solo will i be meeting that kind of resistance in 10/10 complexs or even worse. If so could somebody describe a typical (if there is such a kind) non drone complex ranging from 8/10 to the deadly 10/10. Thanks Eden

It can be done, however not solo. You need 1 ship that tanks the plex and serveral support ships (preferbly battleships) with remote repairs, energy transfer array etc.

Edited by: Agent Kenshin on 18/06/2006 21:58:51 Unfortunately high end complexs like the serpentis 10/10 are a little to easy. You can do the 6/10 Bloods with just 2 ships...

1st 2 stages in serp 10/10 can be done solo with an ishtar... I got bored after that so dunno after that.

Are the rewards any good? i mean in doing a 10/10 complex are you at a higher chance of getting a reward than say angel extravaganza bonus stage? lvl4 of course

You cant really compare a 10/10 complex with a level 4 mission. Level 4 missions are easy (to easy imho), high level complexes are really hard.
For example, I have done the first and second stage of the 8/10 gurista complex, but I had an ishtar with over 97% kinetic resistance and med t2 repper, and still I could not handle all rats at the same time.
About the rewards: I know that the overseer effects in the 8/10 gurista complex are worth about 80mil (there are 3 of them), and you will get something like 50mil in bounties and if you are lucky some faction item.

10/10's aren't really that hard IF you know what you are doing and if you have the right setup. Maybe you could solo the serpentis 10/10, but I doubt it, and even if you could it would take so long it just isn't worth the trouble. To run it efficiently you need about 4 ships.
But the hardest part about 10/10's isn't the npc's, it's the player competion for them. You are not just gonna find one in an empty system that hasn't been run yet. If the overseers are there, then so are lots of people that want them

As you're asking these sorts of questions I'm assuming you can't just ask your alliance, which means you ain't in one or you ain't in one that controls a high end complex, which means you have very little chance of running an 8/10 or 10/10. If you have voice coms, good teamwork, a lot of research into the idea and PvP experience (or experience at avoiding it) then you might stand a chance of finding a less used 7/10 or even 8/10. . . but good luck, tbh you'll need it. - - - - - - - - - -

If you know what you are doing, and you have the right skills and setup. But blood 6/10's are in BoB space, the npc's will be the least of your problems

I soloed a lvl 6 ship complex in Aridia, all the way to the final ship - we blasted away at each other for 30 min, then I called it a day...

The Sansha 10/10 has approx 10 BS 10 cr and 10 frigs at last stage. But the main thing is Station Ultima, which deal a whole lot of damage. And you land approx 20km away from the thing when you enter.
This complex is still 'easy' if you do it the right way, with a properly tanked Dreadnaught in siegemode. Which however gives you quite a bit of risk of losing a really expensive ship to players.
Am I forced to have any regret? I've become the lie, beautiful and free In my righteous own mind I adore and preach the insanity you gave to me |

the 7/10 angle is solable. loots pretty crappy depending on what the last level boss drops.. takes about 3 hours in a bs to complete. The only problem is when ur half way though and the boss hasnt spawned so its a !itch to get it in and finish it before anyone elses partys have gone though. gl
