I've been back a day and a half after a 1 year break. I've wanted a Michi's Excavator Augmentor for a long time. Finally found one I could afford, but, after I put it in, my miner says there is no change in yield. ??
One thing I noticed is that it says it gives a 5% boost to 'mining lasers'. I assumed that meant both lasers and strip miners. Was I wrong? |

I'm not in a position to check at present but the recent changes to mining barges have rendered many of the yield boosts as cycle time reductions. Is it possible that Michi's has been similarly modified? The headline number wouldn't change in that case but the actual yield over time would be significantly improved. |

I assumed that, if the way it had been implemented had changed, the new numbers would show up pretty soon in Evelopedia, but that is where I saw the reference to yield.

I checked it out with my miner. Pretty disappointing.
Yield is still at 1360 m3/Strip miner per cycle. Cycle time has actually gone up from 80 seconds to 82.8 seconds.
What a piece of garbage. Either that or I don't understand what it is doing. |

The answer is simple. The Michi's should have been installed in me, your miner.
Don't bother asking these pooheads anything more complicated than, "which end is the pointy one." |

Lol, OP cant keep his alt's straight and then insults the communities intelligence. "PvE in EVE is a trap to turn you into PvP content, don't confuse it for actual gameplay." Lipbite |
