Oriundus Cineris..
We are getting together a few corps to participate in the first Eve-Cup.
The rules are as follows
Each Team consist of 5 player and 3 reserves. Only 5 players allowed on the pitch at any time
the pitch is 140km long with a rectangle goal made up of small secure cotainers.
each player can use any of the following mods : Webbies, Nos, tractor beams, 10mn ABs and target jammers. NO
GUNS
Only Frigates can be used (any race) NO T2 frigs
attacking team - you must try and tractor the container through your opponents goal, while they try to stop you.
Your team mates can help you by jamming your oponents and webbying them. Defending team will be trying to web
you, target jam you making you drop the tin. nos you to stop you..
there is 2 halfs 20 minutes per half
the winners of the tourny will receive 50mil prize.

I hate to judge a book by its cover, but it looks to me like you guys are a Pirate Corp.. What's to stop you ganking all the players once they get there?

Cause I'f il participate I'l come with a hole fleet behind my team to cover us? They will participate as spectators and have a great time, but also kill some pilots if they think they can gank our football team

we are not a pirate corp, there will be no suprise ganks.. We are desperately trying to work out a way of getting it to take place in empire... Come on game dev's help us out here... this would relight the fire for many vet players.. and give us all a new perspective on eve.
If you would like to participate, please can you send me an in-game mail to let me know so I can put you on the list.. Remember you need to include your team name and your team members. Once I get your mail I will reply with a full set of rules, and I will hopefully be able to let you know where and when... This IS gonna be a lot of fun

We actually played it as a corp when I was CEO of Halfwits back in february, the Idea first came about in January. We have mails and logs if you want to see them. So please dont say you thought of it 3 months ago, as it was already played then.
