as far as im concerned, G would ve got a good foot hold if they waited. iw as in ascn at the time, and if not for BOB punishing G up north they would ve stayed and maybe succeeded in their primary objective. hats up for all G involved at the time, you did your self proud

No way dude.
For respect towards my alliance and ex-G/D2 I wont bring up the issue again but tbh you should get over your bitterness towards edf / ascn and focus on enjoying the game.

Nice try. :)
Um, wasn't it G who requested cease-fire and temp-nap so you could withdraw your forces as were about to take sov back? I was there when it was requested. I'm not trying to be combative but lets not misrepresent the facts that speak with the loudest volume.

It was no try, they rly asked us. And yes, we had to end this cause of BoB pillaging the north and taking an IRON outpost. It was quite obvious, wasnt it? --------------------------------

I was there at that meeting too consider the request made by G/IRON for a cease fire. This is starting too a yes/no game so just let it be. Point is G/IRON never got a cease fire anyway

all right woody, since you decided to bring this up 1. We took AZN back BEFORE you left. 2. BoB had the outpost over a week before you "decided to withdraw" 3. The corps that asked temp nap to G where probably the ones that left ascn.
Would you not have gone back, azn would have been ours *anyway* as we had taken it back alredy, and RMR would have kicked in, meaning Large POSes and more isk sink.
You can say you inflicted us loads of losses, and that you pulled out some insane logistical efforts bringing a pos war down to feyth, but saying that you only stopped because BoB took iron outpost is both insulting and false.

I had a great part in the pull out. We did had a temporary ceasefire wich didn't last long ( under a day) but long enough fur us to do the job. Right after the patch the server became close to unplayable. Docking, jumping and loading could take up to ten minutes. I remember one system just before HED where we needed one hour each time we had to fly through it. We simple couldn't keep up logistics under these conditions. We returned from the South and were fisicly exhausted. ASCN was close to ***** and saved by the bell (patch) and uncle Bob. Cyvvok is till paranoide when ever we come in the picture. For us the campain worked out to be a great succes. We were the first to take an outpost in Eve and deployed logistics never seen before. We tested our dreads and we drove a drivel into the South. We divided Stain and lay the root for the current rot.

Whole reason D2 was built is to annihilate BoB afaik.
I'm pretty unsure whether the big all-out war will occur though. Not because of lag, but if two of the powerblocks fight a serious war most probably the third would interfere in the worst moment... There's currently very little opportunity for the three powerblocks to really engage the other. But there are still smaller entities to crush

Didn't really wanna get into this but what the hell. Why not.
First of all, BOTH sides were trying to get hold of sov in AZN in the run up to RMR, and it was no real secret either. Everyone pretty much knew that whoever held it at patch day would hold it for awile, because the time zone differential isn't as much of an issue when you have 5 day sov counters. You guys managed to pull sov for a day, but it was a day too early and we had it coming back to us BEFORE you asked for pullout/ceasefire.
As far as ASCN, maybe your forum spies should do better work or something because whether it was on forums or in chat I've rarely seen ASCN farther from *****ing than it was at that point. You guys did a rather neat thing for us in bringing the alliance together. For an entire month the ENTIRE alliance had a unified purpose and goal, it was very cool, and to be honest I think most of us relished it (except for the whole shooting pos for 12+ hrs straight every day thing).
I'm not sure how you can say CYVOK is paranoid about you guys coming into the picture either really. I mean, we did spend the next 3-4 months constantly provoking ya in the north before EC- and the disbands happened. If by paranoid you mean ****ed as hell and telling all his fighters to go kill you, then yes I suppose you got that right.
Your campaign did a lot of things for sure, but I'm not quite sure it did the ones you listed. BoB beat you on the "first to take an outpost" thing with their JU- roadtrip, which happened a full week before you pulled out (which was the day after you lost AZN sov, after gaining it).
Your logistics, while impressive (spamming over 30 small pos in one system in a few hours was cool), was far from the best in the history of the game. I'd still have to give that one to RA's PoS zergs leading up to the .5. pullout.
Yes, you shook up the south some for sure. You woke SA up some when they got steamrolled, and you laid the foundation for Tribal and KoS to form in Omist/PS. You taught us some good lessons in fleet combat (something the majority of us had never been involved in before the war), and ASCN was better for it.
But when all is said and done, what were your goals? If it was to get some solid fleet fights and a good number of kills, to teach ascn how to prepare for and fight a huge war, and to lose massive numbers of small pos's then mission accomplished bud. Keep up the good work!
(Would like to add here that this isn't meant to be a flame of G/IRON, or the new D2, more a fix for those misrepresenting the way things happened. We lost lots of ships, they lost lots too (though not as many). They deployed an amazing number of small PoS, we shot down a similar number. Timezone issues really *$ed with both sides as G primetime was nowhere near ASCN primetime, etc.)
Also, sorry for the thread derail there. Back on the actual topic, it will be really interesting to see what happens in the next few months in the alliance landscape )

..every time a D2 hoarder is reported to be undocking in Jita, boss comes up in the alliance screaming "OMG D2 ARE COMING! LOCKDOWN!!!!!!1oneoneone"
PS, as someone said before aswell, you were beaten by BoB in the outpost thinghy, and by RED in the logistics thingy aswell. -------
