Back in the day Zarquon Beeblebrox and Darth Solo were my favourite anti-pirates, nowadays not even one name can come to mind.

Mangold gets my vote, hands-down. i get paranoid whenever he's in local... in fact, ask most of Veto that i fly with, i'm paranoid of Mangold even when e's NOT in system. the one moment i let my gaurd down... BAM, safespot broken. can't even dock my pod without fear...
Don't worry, your sig is safe...wait...oops. --Jorauk |

note to self: avoid dude called Mangold
I honestly haven't run into one person that makes me go in local, in terms of annoyance though, I'll give the Molden Heath locals points for willingness to at least chase us around the region...while they generally fail to get us, good job for sticking together .
(Btw, thank you for the 10 odd kills yesterday )

Where some may see a good anti-pirate, I see a pirate who needs to sharpen up his act ;)
I don't know why more solo pirates don't make use of cloaks when they safespot - you can offline it to avoid the scan resolution reduction, then warp to an inline SS after a kill and pop it on. Works a treat. Be aligned for an exit gate, uncloak, and you're outta there while the locals are still scrabbling around belts wondering where the hell your ship has gone.
So whoever this Mangold is, you won't need to worry about him ------------------ I'm a 'liberated PvPer' |

The guys of MH-SEC, back in ATUF days, we had a LOT of fun fights with these guys. I think we got the better of them most of the time, but they were super fun dudes.

Well..we MH Guys do try... Not been as much Pirate activity, well not organised anyway, since ATUF left...then again Sakura and her Tharsis crew have given us a few good chases...their hq could do with a clean on the outside though...looked to be full of spaceweed or something when sat outside waiting for Xuahn to undock last week.
We may not be the best but we do try to be persistent and,as with all things,we'll get better with experience.

You get the scan resolution reduction even if it is off-line.

Not completely true. I've popped a Mafia Tempest that was cloaked at a safespot. It's much harder but doable.

Mangold. But I hate him, he used his Vaga to kill my Stabber. --- And we can take this huge universe and put it inside a very tiny head: you fold it. |

I have yet to see an antipirate earn a kill. 99% time is a group of 3+ ganking 1 guy and using ECM.
