Yesterday saw the establishment of two new alliances in EVE
Armorum Unitas
Novus Ordos Seclorum
Knowing the the personalities behind them I am sure that both alliances have bright futures ahead of them - adding to the rich tapestry that is the EVE universe.
The reason I am highlighting this is the eagle eyed among you will have noticed that both alliances were founded by me.
Thanks to many long hours spent in the study of corporation management skills and my excellent connections I am now in a position to offer my services as an honest and reliable establisher of alliances for a negotiable fee.
Both the alliances above were willing to hand me One Billion ISK and temporary control of their corporations to save their leaders the need to spend many weeks studying the hugely demanding corporation management skills themselves.
I am sure both alliances will no doubt attest to my honesty and the convenience of the service offered.
So in this universe of thieves and scammers - you now have an honest option - an Amarrian option.
Minmatar alliances need not apply!

Ok but if they don't have the skills, they can't really do anything with the allience then right? Like add new corps and what not? Or am I mistaken. Best of luck though.

Shouldn't it be spelt Novus Ordo Seclorum?

Yes - several people have pointed that out - however it was done at the specific request of the founder. I specifically ensure I do not make any typos by checking and rechecking the names with the customer. ------------------------------ Hardin's Blog

It is quite amazing how long this particular propaganda meme has lasted.
Once an alliance is created, so long as there is an executor corporation all functions work.

Propaganda? As in, somebody has something to gain by making people think this?
Heh, I wouldn't even have jumped on that if you hadn't used the word "meme" in that sentence... ------------------------------------------- "Never underestimate the power of language."

Yes, it was used as propaganda against at least one particular alliance in the past that I am aware of. It had it's intended effect, which was to freeze the other alliance into non-action for a period of time. It left them in a bind because the people who had Empire Control 5 were not the logical choices to lead the alliance after the executor corporation had left. The gain for spreading the propaganda was increased strength in bargaining position for the old-executor corporation to negotiate with a more disorganized alliance.

Edited by: Oosel on 30/05/2006 19:44:01 as one of the very happy corps involved in starting up armorum unitas we are all very very grateful for the speedy and effective service provided but my old hedion university buddy hardin. he had it all set up and done for us within a day and at the same time showed our non amarrian corp members true amarr efficiency. once set up and passed back over you can do all the functions of alliance leadership without said skills which was a godsend to us and would recomend anyone wanting this service to use our good freind hardin to do so
once again many thanks m8

So, Hardin, what you are saying is that you are a Mercenary? You're selling your services to the highest bidder now? Excellent.
Please contact Parmizan about filling out the proper paperwork, standard DNA sample procedures and damnation of your eternal soul. I expect to see your application to BDCI within the week. -

If I am as successful at this business as you are at yours I will be a very happy Amarrian Seleene
As for the other 'offer' it is nice to be wanted however I think something drastic would have to happen before I could start taking orders from a Minmatar 'wench' despite the obvious attractions
Now if you were a Gallente... then I would have some thinking to do

Mighty Fine Idea tbh. I'm surprised no one tried to capitalize on this before. Good luck in your venture, i'm sure it will make you some nice iskies. -- My views do not represent my corporation nor my alliance. Please pay no attention to me, I seldom do. I just can't keep my mouth shut. |

Is it just me or does this seem kinda buggy? Surely for an alliance to exist, anyone who wants to be executor should have the proper skills trained. (Not sure how corps work, but surely for someone to take over a corp with X number of pilots, they must have the appropriate skills trained?).
It's gonna be kinda sucky to see 100's of new alliances appear, as people start creating an alliance for their 5-man agent running corp just to avoid war decs or something? -----

I'd like to see some type of limits to such stuff.
Something comes to mind when you wanted to create a guild in another game you needed like 10 people to agree to join to create the guild in the first place. I would like to see something like this alliances at least to limit these one corp alliances. And maybe make new alliances pay 10 billion to create!
