New Caldari - The Caldari Navy has announced today that they have successfully completed a test of a new Missile. They have not released any information about the nature of this missile.
The test occured in a Top Secret deadspace pocket in an unidentified system. The Caldari Navy has stated that they use this pocket for frequent weapons tests and live fire training of it's pilots.
"The test of the missile was a great success," stated Anro Tashiki, a Public Relations official for the Navy, "but this success comes with a great price."
The price that Tashiki speaks of is the loss of the inventor of the missile, pictured here just moments before his death:
Unnamed Inventor of Caldari Superweapon
The Caldari Navy declined any further comment and would not provide the name of the missile inventor.

I'd buy some, but I can't be sure it will work as well without someone riding it to its target.

I'm sure it's powerful, but the guidance system seems a bit primitive ...

Forget the missile, I want to know what technology is allowing him to survive in outerspace in just those clothes.

The test took place in a deadspace pocket and by the looks of the picture he is in space with no proper protect, which is way he probably died
Also the ship in the background is a gallente carrier (or mothership?) which begs the question whats it doing at a top secert Caldari weapons testing pocket

That too just adds further questions. You sure this inventor wasnt a traitor to the state or anything?

If the caldari are doing live fire tests, would it not make sense that they'd be doing it on realistic ships that they're likely to face, aka, Gallente ships?

(OOC: If you consider the source, which is a famous scene from the movie "Dr Strangelove or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb", you'd realize that he's riding a Nuke as it drops to the planet, he's looking back up at the plane that dropped it. Thus, in this case, he's looking back at the ship that launched the Missile.)

Which brings up the question: Was he on the missile of his own free will?
