Ok so a while back I got sick of the lack of PvP for a pirate in EVE (everyone ran and docked) and so I quit EVE for a few months. Before I quit I had an Armageddon setup that really really really hurt. I mean really hurt. I cant clearly remember what it was but I have an idea. I tried to do a similar fitting on this new armageddon I got now that im back and this is what it is:
High ======== 7x Megapulse I 1x E500 Prototype Energy Vampire
Med ======== 3x Cap Rechargers 1x X5 Prototype Engine Enervator
Low ======== 1x Beta Reaction Control: Reaction Control I 3x Capacitor Power Relays 2x Armor Hardener 1x Inefficient Armor Repair Unit 1x 1600mm Plate
Now I know some people are laughing right now but please keep in mind that I haven't played for like 3 months. I wanted to put a Heat Sink II but I had CPU problems. I also can't equip Tech 2 megapulses because I'm still waiting for the skill to finish.
So basically post a good PvP or PvE setup, I dont care, either helps.

Just so you know, writing "WTF did I get nerfed" was not a typo.

I dont use a webber...drones do better without it and nos keeps frigs that go too fast slower.

I've tried the webs and they're generally functional. But if you want to go toe to toe with a mega, you have to exploit your natural strengths. For Amarr, this is the extended range of pulses and their average tracking.
The big advantage of geddon is the speed and that you don't generally have to travel to start applying turret damage from the point where you warp in. Megas generally have that little delay between warping in and approaching target before they can apply their really high firepower.
The nice thing is that it work best at exactly 15km, so it's perfect for duty alongside a covops assistant. Plus you have the drones. For calculated rather than adhoc anti-BS action, 5 heavies is a hefty addition of eventual dps if you can remember you have them.
-- Fun thing to do on SiSi with disposable geddons. Fit up a bunch of nanos, 100mn mwd and lots of heavy vamps. Next find a capital ship and orbit at +2500m/s 15-17km and watch the sucker do periodic 360 slides once a revolution. I can get above 3500 w/out faction gear, but my nav skills kinda suck. I've been in slower cepters at least. Someones gotta try it with a racing phoon though.
