okay, wtf. you guys and gals are yapping away about CREST this and crest that. driving me bonkers.
how do i get this to work for say tritanium since the beginning of time like they did for PLEX
all i seem to be able to do is load up postman on chrome browser but that's about as far as i get. is there a way to fiddle with the raw data and generate the picture CCP Quant made for tritanium instead of plex? |

My guess is just from looking at the paste bin code ( http://pastebin.com/EAujc3ab ) that you would change the URL in there to this:
http://public-crest.eveonline.com/market/10000002/types/34/history/
EDIT AGAIN:
How are you trying to view this data? Just by copying the URL into the browser and hoping to see a graph? If so, you need something to interpret and graph the JSON output this URL generates. |

Alright, so I have had a little play with this, and it seems there is a way to do what you are looking for.
I did this one in PHP, because it's the development environment I have available to me at the moment, and given the wealth of data on the CREST side of things it makes sense for me to leverage the SQL server to store more data.
Code is as follows:
Quote: $jsonData=file_get_contents('http://public-crest.eveonline.com/market/10000002/types/34/history/');
$jsonOBJ=json_decode($jsonData,true);
$fp = fopen('file.csv', 'w'); fputcsv($fp,array('volume_str','orderCount','lowPrice','highPrice','avgPrice','volume','orderCount_str','date')); foreach($jsonOBJ['items'] as $jsonItem){ fputcsv($fp, $jsonItem); } fclose($fp);
echo 'Done!';
With the correct permissions on the folder and file, this will generate a CSV file (file.csv) with all of the market pricing history for Tritanium (typeID=34).
Now open up that CSV and move the columns around to suit the order you are after (e.g date,lowPrice, highPrice, avgPrice).
Select the columns, and create line chart.
There's enough detail in there to create a chart resembling a spark chart. It's not ideal for what you are trying to achieve, but this is the only way I can see for you to implement this CREST feed short of writing Python code. |

If you copy the url, rather than clicking through, it should work.
