Great changes! Seriously these 'little changes' almost always become my favorite part of these releases.
I note the chat filters are not case-sensitive (perfect!) but want to be sure I understand how to code them. Based on the picture it looks like you list words together with a period in between them? So if I wanted to filter the words alpha beta and gamma it would be coded like the below?

Wow usually when I see changes announced at the last minute I shudder - but these look so awesome! "If a miner needs to go to the bathroom, for instance, I ask that they dock up first, or at the very least ask the Supreme Protector for permission to go."-á --á James 315 - aka - the miner bumper |

Hey Great CCP team...
Could you add some kind of column text box in the Science & Industry Planets tab that allow us to write a note of what kind of commodities we are working on.
I can't never remember which planet PI does what at the end of the day...
Thx, Defier. Love EVE Online! |

Great Work Devs!
Really great work on that D-scan.
Well done! Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction... |

The Blog wrote:We have heard your pleas (and done some begging and crying ourselves), but we have much more ambitious ideas for the scanner. So we have, to be honest, been a bit reluctant to just put a tiny patch on it. That is something I've wanted to hear for a very long time. The rest of the changes to the UI are nice, but I can't wait until we see a Scanner overhaul. Any chance we can have, on the unused part of the HUD in the bottom half of the circle where the overheat indicators are (between capacitor and hull readout), a display that can be used as a cargohold readout for a bay of the players choice? So a miner/hauler would use it for orebay, a capital for feulbay, a friehgter for cargohold ect? |

Hello Little Things devs
After much praise ITT (Stockholm Syndrom?) I have to say that I find the changes in the fittings/attributes tabs are not very helpful. Instead of reading a concise numerical set of data I am now forced to switch between numerical and graphic information.
Graphs / graphics are nice. No doubt.
But there are some cases where the information to be represented is so simple that the graphic representation is more of an obstacle than a help to accessing the data. I believe this to be the case here. Why, for example, do I now have to count dots (rings) to know that a ship can handle 7 and not 6 turrets? It is not helpful.
Same goes for the resists numbers, now bars, in the attributes tab. While the color bars are shiny and nice (and they are), the information is so simple that the use of graphics is just too much and a bit odd on a page full of numerical information.
The intention is fine - to make a better interface, a better user experience. But to me it is just changes for the sake of changing, and not very clever - colors because colors is no guarantee for a better user experience.

I was actually wondering where this information had been moved to. I was browsing some ships on the Market to find something new to fly and couldn't find where they had put the turret and launcher slots information.

Agreed I'm still hovering over each of the resistance markers to figure out which is which. still taking a long time to get used to Blue is EM, Red is Thermal, Grey is Kinetic and Yellow is Explosive.
