Ok... most asinine question ever: why is it that the Minmatar frigates canÆt seem to float effortlessly? It rocks back and forth in a most annoying fashionà even when at a complete standstill. Turning off æload station environmentÆ doesnÆt help, because it freezes all akimbo.
I get that Minmatar ships are supposed to be like the Æ70 Camaro that your high school buddy had. Fast on the straightaway, kindaÆ cool looking, but you need to make sure you donÆt put your foot through the floorpan rust and for godÆs sake donÆt make a sharp turn or the left-front wheel assembly could snap off. And check out that duct tape fender! But commonÆ! They ~shimmy~?!
I only know all of this because I trained up Min Frigate to level 3 æjust becauseÆ and thought it was cool to buy a Rifter as a ærunner vessel. Rather regretting that decision nowà

Listen...
Us minnies are the only people smart enough and resourceful enough to make ships out of trash that still pwn people... So if the ship's a rockin' -- I don't want to hear about it. We put more effort into the killing parts of the ship then the 'non-rocking-stabilization' systems.
In short: Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

Your looking at the rifter and its t2 counter parts right?
I dont seem to recall any other minny frig that does it.
Anyways, i think its a cool effect, specially when you consider that the rifters engines make up 80% of the ship, they probably idle pretty heavy.

vigil might make a better transporting ship, i think it still goes faster than any other frigate ofcourse theres the possible annoying Knight Rider/Star Galactica light beamy thingy that moves from one end to the other on the front AND IT JUST DONT STOP DOING IT EITHER

Burst, rifter, probe, tempest, stabber, breacher rock. Not sure about phoon and rupture. Indus, thrasher, cyclone, scythe, bellicose don't rock.
Might be wrong on one or two, but ... --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

But on a serious note.....The rifter is the dogs ******** for running small loads. I've got 3 OD injectors and a MWD II on mine and it does in excess of 3km/sec. 15km out, to jumpgate in just over 4 sec. Try locking that!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love the Rifter, but if you want a runner for courier missions a Slasher is much faster for low-cargo runs and has virtually the same cargo room (130m3 vs 120m3).
For higher cargo runs a Probe is almost as fast as a Rifter (only loses out due to 3 vs 2 low slots and 20m/s less speed) but has much higher cargo room (320m3 vs 130m3).
Then again, if you were just talking about kill missions, ignore my post. Or, have all three ships like I do, they're cheap enough

You forgot the Probe's cargo space bonus of +5% per frigate level - leading to 368m¦at Minm Frig 3, and 400m¦ at Minm. Frigate 5. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

I think the Caracal rocks, you can see it when you're docked, and I'm not sure but I think the kessy rocks too.

You're right, makes it even better. I'm at the 368m3 stage right now, I was just quoting base figures as a comparison

Might be wrong on one or two, but ...
burst and breacher = useless ? Rupture = one of the best cruisers ingame Cyclone = one of the best battlecruisers ingame Thrasher = best destroyer ingame

Not exactly the point of this thread... but tbh the breacher kicks ass, 10% explosive missle damage + 5% to all others = :o

Not to burst your bubble, but I was in a gang where an enemy crow with domination nanofibres, a Gist MWD and a full high grade snake set was unable to make it to 15km to a gate and was killed and podded.
